Designated free camping area in light woodland on shores of lake. Suits smaller vehicles or tent camping more than a bigger truck. There is plenty of space for a bigger truck but it is difficult to get shelter from the wind. Free. Lots of fallen trees around for firewood.

It's a beautiful spot and a great view atvthe lake. The path (11km) looks fresh done. Quite windy
Report Check-InIt's a beautiful place to spend some time, but be prepared for the wind! There's some trees to shelter, could be tricky with a big rig but there's also a big open space. Good for tent too, grass and bushes to get protection. There are some fire rings, but quiet dangerous with this wind, and pit toilets "homemade" behind a dark "curtain". No problem without 4WD. We also saw tree foxes!
Report Check-InPerfect place to rest! Silent and really peacefull. No other people (on a saturday) only we and another rig!
Report Check-InLarge site overlooking the lake, lots of trees for wind protection. Should be nice, but maybe not on weekends:
We got here at 18:00 (Friday) but left at 19:00 after a large family in three cars arrived and started preparing for a long festive weekend. We took refuge from the (expected) noise in the woods next to the road leading here (there are many suitable spots - look for them on your way here).
Report Check-InLoved it here! Nice drive here from the king penguins through great forest. Great wind protection, plenty of firewood and great views. Forest huge with many large trees in lieu of pit toilets that are no longer here.
Report Check-InGreat location overlooking the lake, we found a nice cosy spot for the Land Rover and Caravan. Rubbish around suggests could be noisy at weekends, obviously frequented by fishermen. Nice walk along the shore/through the woods from the end of the campsite.
Report Check-InNice place at the lake. Good wind protection in the forest. There are plenty of spots to stay.
Report Check-InNice spot by the lake, with clear water and trail, but some trash that had been burned (tin cans do not burn...) and no pit toilette. Apart from that a beautiful place.
Report Check-InWe drove from Rio Grande to Lago Blanco on the Routa B! Great scenery and no to Bad to drive. Camping Lago Blanco is great direct on the Lake. There are enough trees so you will have some schelter from the wind. We didn‘t use the toilet there. Some fire pits. Great Place in the nature. Recomended!
Report Check-InCatch a nice brown trout after 1,5 hour spinning fishing - nice place
Report Check-InEmplacement sympa, bon spot pour pêcher (truites saumons ). Il y a des perroquets peu farouches
Report Check-InGreat spot! Nice trail around the lake. Another 2 rigs were here, they come fishing and put some music during the night. Not too bad or too late...
Report Check-Ingreat spot, the sendero to the close cerro is a nice walk rewarded by the beautiful view on the lake, snowcapped mountains, islands, and the tierra del fuego. Beautiful freshly fished troutsmfor lunch, perfect!
Report Check-InGreat camp spot along the lake in the middle of no where. We were the only ones there. When the road T's at the lake, make a left and head towards the tree line. Was raining when we got there, so the ground was wet so we didn't head far back into the trees as we are 2WD. If you have 4WD vehicle there would be access spots with more cover from the wind. Beautiful place to camp for a night.
Report Check-Ina perfect place to rest for some days. drive the road to the lake and at the end turn to the left. there is a forrest camping area with lots of space but no facilities.
Report Check-InGorgeous spot. Very popular with Chilean and Argentinian locals on this Saturday night. Not difficult to get to (roads in the area are good), and the lake is lovely for swimming if it is a warm day. If there are toilets we couldn't find them. No facilities, and have to take all trash with you. CONAF came past and said a from all fire is ok if it isn't windy.
Report Check-InGreat camping spots along the shores of Lago Blanco and plenty of spots in the treeline with some wind shelter, and based on the shapes of the trees, it must get pretty windy here, although luckily it was very calm and sunny for us.
Report Check-InDesignated free camping area in light woodland on shores of lake. There are pit toilets here but they are scary. Suits smaller vehicles or tent camping more than a bigger truck. There is plenty of space for a bigger truck but it is difficult to get shelter from the wind. Free.
Report Check-InThere is a wide camping area overlooking Lago Blanco.. Plenty of space and cover here.
