Description

Coffee tour (45 min) 15k cop per person with coffee tasting before and after the tour. If you don't make the tour, the coffee costs 2k cop. Very delicious. There's also a bistro with cakes and pies, including coffee flavoured ones (a bit expensive). There is a parking place before getting here. It says "parqueo aqui" in a white sign (free)

The coffee tour is interesting, it is possible to follow it in English. Cost is now 25 000 COP for the adults (children free). The visit allows you to see the factory dating from 1892 and to see the different stages of manufacturing and roasting. Too bad the visit does not allow you to go to the plantations. The coffee is excellent, they sell the 250g packet 20 000 COP and the 500G 30 000 COP. It is possible to buy it in grain or ground. The track to come here is in good condition, the bamboos that line the road are superb! We don't sleep here, but if it is possible it is a nice place.

road wise, the last km is downhill, concern was if it rains, the drive up would be a challenge with my low front wheel drive minivan, I took moto taxi and walked back and stopped at the pozos

Very nice coffee farm with a little café and a tour. Not sure if staying overnight is still an option. We asked, but he said we couldn't stay with the cars on the parking because lots of other cars would need them in the morning. He recommended driving further up the road to one of the restaurants and ask there. We were a bit late though (arrived at 16:30) and they close their cafe at 15:30, but we could still have a coffee and cake. He offered the tour as well, but we were a bit too tired for a 45 min tour. Not sure if doing the tour would have given us better chances of staying. The owner was super friendly and the coffee and cake were really good and very reasonably priced (cake 5000, coffee 2000). We bought some coffee too.

We came here in the afternoon and got a cup of coffee and some cake. After we finished we asked if we could sleep in our van where it was parked in the parking area. They said no problem and we had a quite and cool night.

Definitely worth a stop! Hike up the road from Minca and then treat yourself to a delicious coffee and/or a beer! Next to the coffee finca is a small cerveceria (Cerveceria Nevada). Surprisingly good beer and just a stunning area. Enjoy!
