Highly recommend! Woman-owned business and the grounds are incredibly beautiful. It was a bit busy when we arrived on a Saturday, but of course we had the place to ourselves in the new week. Don’t pull into the first tiny parking area. Go up to the top of the hill where there is a tall gate (see photo) and a larger parking area. Vehicles that are wider or longer than us might have trouble. But if you are taller (like a van), that should be fine. You can turn around at the top of the hill if needed. Amenities: bathrooms, sinks, showers (hot water on the pool side, though doesn’t always last long), grill, sink for dishes, restaurant, pool table, swimming pool (very clean), hot tub, soccer field. Beautifully kept grounds with so many flowers. Saw a toucan fly overhead and perch in a tree. We walked into town 1-2 times/day. About 20 minute-walk. We also walked the other way to the mariposaria and cable car thing ($8/adult each way). Really a nice stay despite daily rain. We stayed 5 nights and could’ve stayed longer. They originally asked $10/night/person, but we negotiated lower to a reasonable price. There are also the cabins if you need some walls for a while.

RUM: We wanted to go to the square, but a power line prevented the passage. We are 3.15 meters high. Driving a Unimog. PLEASE ... do not put the button in green in the IOVERLANDER so fast, or inquire in advance.

RUM : Wir wollten gerne auf den Platz, aber leider versperrte uns eine Stromleitung die Zufahrtsstraße . Wir sind ca.3,15 m hoch. Für große Wagen also ungeeignet. Der grüne Button im IOVERLANDER ist gesetzt und es stimmt wiederholt nicht. BITTE BITTE...setzt den Button nicht zu schnell auf grün, oder erkundigt euch.

Yes! We loved this place!
We parked in a leveled parking area in a beautiful garden with loads of birdsounds to wake up to after a peaceful and quiet night.
We payed $8 p.p. and could use the hot showers, very clean bathrooms, games room (pooltable & pingpong), tv/lounge area, bbq-area and beautiful pool & Jacuzzi. Felt like camping in a resort.
15 min walk to town.
We ran out of gas while being on the campsite and were allowed to use one of their gasbottles for the time being. Very friendly!

Beautiful green garden with bungalows for $50, rooms with shared bathroom for $25 and camping for $16 for 2 persons. There's a good swimming pool, ping pong and pool table, barbecue ($5 to use), kitchen and warm showers. We saw kolibri's in the garden a few times. Very nice place.

We negotiated a room + camping spot for $32.50 a night. Only in the weekend another guy arrived who wanted to charge us more, so we left. Also, he was cleaning the swimming pool with the dish washing product and sponge and put it back next to the sink after - best to use your own!
