Super quiet and the only real light pollution is from Yuma. Opportunities for hiking and off road adventures. VERY DUSTY! good cell service. Majority flat ground for any size rig.

Report Check-In

6 miles north of I 8 wide open BLM 14 day camping no services great cell coverage for Verizon, ATT and TMOBILE.

Report Check-In

Great place to camp, plenty of space, rocky rather than sandy so you won't get stuck, fairly quiet except for trains, excellent Verizon service. Smells a bit gross, like fire and fuel, and I get a sore throat if I stay more than 2 nights here. Indicates poor air quality, so I wouldn't spend a lot of time here, but great place to stop for a night or two.

Free desert camping What more can be said. Marine base or Air Force practices once in a while in this area and a train comes by a few times A-day Other than that very quiet and peaceful. Lots of gold mines in the area to Explore. Good Verizon signal. You're near Algadonus Mexico so you can go get your prescriptions filled there or teeth fixed and eyeglasses made.

I spent 6 nights here, a bit further up off Ogilby Rd towards the mountain right off the (empty) wash. Just look for the tire paths. Lots of RV’s and vans, but respectfully spread out. Great Verizon signal, worked from a hotspot every day. A few of the days were beautiful, a few were too windy to leave my vehicle much and impossible to cook outdoors. No wildlife to speak of this time of year besides an occasional hummingbird. There are military helicopters that fly overhead sometimes which was tolerable and I got used to the train sounds. My dog enjoyed the open space.

the beginning of the road has multiple campers, but the farther you go out, the less people you see! has good enough phone service for hot spot and some hulu :) would recommend!

Report Check-In

Wide open BLM land, did not have to drive far to find a good spot. Location in app was right on for the turn.

Report Check-In

Endless amount of spots. Nothing around, but perfect for one or more nights. No ATV's, so no dust and no noise. You can hear the ATV'S and the train from far away, but it is not a problem.

Sehr grosses Gelände, man steht sehr frei und fast alleine, ein paar firepits, kein Müll, keine Hunde, tolle Aussicht, jede Art von camping möglich, ab und zu hört man den kilometerlangen Zug - stört nur sehr wenig

Report Check-In

Easy to get into with our trailer. lots and lots of flat gravel space to park. nice view of the mountains but INCREDIBLY windy. our trailer shook all night but turned out fine.

Good spot in the desert. plenty of room.

Report Check-In

Very big, nice and quite. A bit out of the way but very nice roads too.

Report Check-In

It's not crowded at all. So far very quiet. Did we a few jets overhead.

Report Check-In

I stayed 10 nights here.

Not a lot of privacy (can see vehicles in every direction). Little in vegetation but a good place for rock hounding.

The mountains are fun to hike/bike. You can find abandoned mines and structures.

You will hear a train in the distance (which I like) from time to time.

On American girl mine rd there is an active mine and trucks come up and down it regularly. The road is sprayed regularly to keep dust down.

Drive over the train tracks on Ogilby and take the first right after Sidewinder Road. You'll start to see numerous rigs and there's lots of room. There's potable water at the rest stop about 4 miles west of Ogilby.

Wide open spaces can fit many and all size RV's. Road in is hard packed dirt. 14 day camping limit. Very quiet while I was here late December 2017 early January 2018. 30 mins to Yuma.

Report Check-In

Nice and quiet place. Little windly. 4 permanent Campers, but a ton of room to find your own spot.
