Report Check-InSigns stating no overnight camping or parking. I thought this was allowed by all Cabelas.
Report Check-InSad day, this cabelas is no longer getting my business due to lack of allowing overnight parking and removal of the dump station.
Report Check-InCLOSED: Signs posted no overnight parking or camping. Disappointing as I thought this was a nationwide Cabela’s practice.
Report Check-InWe had come the week before and stayed without a problem but we came today and there were signs saying no camping or overnight parking allowed. I called the store to confirm and the said they do not allow it anymore. There’s still potable water but there also isn’t a dump station anymore.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Potable water, horse stalls (which our Great Dane loves). A TON of free parking. The lot was packed! 90% were cleared out by 8am!
Report Check-InStayed one night but have been in and out repeatedly the last few days. Lot is well lit and clean. It seems fairly busy with 5-10 vehicles each time I passed by. They still have multiple pull through a for long vehicles, outdoor horse paddocks and dog kennels. There is also free potable water next to the kennels. I didn't check out the dump station.
Report Check-InThis is a great place to stay, I used it for multiple nights. But they did get rid of their dump station, just this week.
Report Check-InStayed two nights here and had no issues. Called to ask and they said technically they are supposed to say no but they said no one will bother you if you do. Right by Sickies Garage Restaurant which was nice to walk to get a beer at! Great Verizon reception.
Report Check-InJust arrived. There are 2 campers and 2 bands. Easy access right off I90
Report Check-InQuiet area at least in the shoulder season outside of business hours. Plenty of other overnighters in the lot but didn't hear a peep out of any of them. Felt perfectly safe and comfortable both nights I crashed here. Makes a good basecamp for all your various Black Hills/Badlands activities.
Report Check-InParked for five minutes and someone pulled up says that no overnight camping will be allowed from now on due to company-wide policy change.
Report Check-InRight off I90, several RVs, vans, campers around, felt very safe, spent a quiet night. No outdoor cooking/sitting around allowed, but overnight parking is fine.
Report Check-InArrived around 11pm and there were about 30 other RVs and vans there. Felt safe. Nice grassy area to walk the dog in the morning. If you’re driving through I’d stay here instead of the Walmart, which was not as nice.
Report Check-InThis Cabelas is crazy busy with travelers! Showed up on a Friday and there were at least 40 rigs here. Vans, skoolies, RV, campers, it appears all are welcome. Bonus, free dump and potable water!
Report Check-InNo overnight parking Aug 4- Aug 20 due to Sturgis. Allowed any other time.
RV dump around back.
At least fifteen RVs here last night, not as noisy as I was expecting.
Report Check-InWater at dump station is non potable, but there is a potable water spigot next to the dog kennels.
Report Check-Infree water hookup. ran my generator without issues. theres a dump station. atayed multiple nights never got told to leave or anything.
Report Check-InIt works for a night. Talked to management, and they said that there's a city ordinance against overnight camping, but they allow it as long as you're not cooking outside or setting up camp chairs outside. Parking on east side of the building. Nice burger joint/bar right next door.
Report Check-InNice evening shade on the east side of the building, there were several other rv’s here too
Report Check-Inarrived around 9 and lot was pretty full! we did find a spot and had a great nights sleep. barely noticed the highway noise. I didn't use it, but I saw they even had a fresh water spigot!
Report Check-InEasy access off the freeway Pull thru sites available .. also a dump station and water available for a small fee
Report Check-InAs described above, good place for an overnight but the interstate traffic noise does exist. Cabela’s is a great store to resupply with quality items. There is a good burger place within walking distance.
Report Check-InShop is RV friendly with dedicated parking on the left hand side of the shop. There's a dump station behind the shop. We didn't use but it seems it costs 5$, unless you buy stuffs from them. Right next to the highway, busy in the evening and morning. Night Ok.
