Something not right?

Description

Nice quiet older park with large pines. The park is right off highway 101, but you hear more sound from the rustling pines. $21.50 for a plain camp site. $27 for full hook ups. The bathroom was old, but adequate. I liked the campground.

The campsite descriptions are accurate. I would not pay the $45 and $55 they are asking however the day use area is by donation. It was a great place to exercise the animals, fill up on water, empty a little trash — all for a donation.

Just giving a price update (with pic). 35 hike in/bike in. 45 standard site. 55 hook up. Showers are outdated and cost 1,25 (quarters) per 7,5min. Small, packed as sardines; didn’t stay here. Seems like the county wants to get some easy money of us campers.

The tent and car camping spots are nicely secluded and surrounded by huge trees. Not many views of the water, but there is a beach trail down to the shore. The water is silty and full of kelp, but still pretty to see.

This campground is very clean and well maintained. There are bathrooms and showers and full hookups for RV’s. The tent sites have a fire pits and picnic tables.

We paid $35 for a tent site.

As described in rates but the discounted rate for hikers and bikers is 35 a night! Camp post was very nice but the county has become very greedy!

Nice place, just came to use the day use area. Really empty right now. Updated prices for 2022 are $45 for camping, $55 with hookups. Discounts for hikers and cyclers.

Free (yes, we asked) potable water here in day use area. No Fee, but left a $5 donation. Nice hosts. Pull in and near tree across from hosts. Hose bib with sign.

Was happy here. Some mosquitos in the evening. Plenty of camper vans in the tent spots like me lol.

Quiet camp in forest. Restrooms are old yet functional. Seems like a nice place to sit and read.

Good VZW signal.

Not much to add to the other posters comment. This is a nice little campground off the 101 with a nice trail down to the water. There’s good Verizon coverage but AT&T coverage was not so good. All size rigs could fit here.

Report Check-In

Nice campground at a nice price. View of the water from some sites, if you don't need power or water hookups. $21.50/nt w/o hookups. There are water spigots at various places. Shower looked old but usable for $0.50/3 minutes.

We stayed here one night and loved it!
We stayed in spot B-7 and it was great away from the RVs that were hooked up.
It rained all night so we could not hear any cars.
Our spot was “far” from the bathroom & shower but there was an outhouse near our spot.
Shower was hot!! Only one shower for women and one shower for men. They were small but nice and hot! Host was friendly.
The “B” section of spots were more secluded and great for tents and vans.

Great Campground! Our Sprinter fit nicely in site A-5. Private large site with water view and scattered sun-- mostly shade. Beautiful trees and nice hike down to the river. Clean bathrooms. Called same day and got a site same day for $21.50 nightly. Great deal for relaxing before dispersing again. Potable water available, not sure about a dump station. They do have full hookup available for a few bucks more, but the sites are more crowded like an RV Park which are not our thing. Great tent sites also available.

Yes, an older park. Large open grassy sites with fire rings and tables at all sites. Firewood for sale. Some nice tall trees, open grassy areas & views of the sunset over the water make this a very pleasant place to stay. Bathrooms are old and fairly clean with soap & paper towel for hand washing and a coin operated shower. $1 gives you 6 minutes of glorious hot water. $20 for a dry site. Good value really.

It is open. Very Nice Camping. $27,00 Full Hook up.

Wanted to stay here but they wouldn’t answer their phone, and when I went to visit the website it said suspended, we didn’t want to drive all the way there and risk it being closed. I did see signs for it on the highway so probably still operating
