Really interesting place and very emotionnal. The museum was open, free donation.

As the previous comments, easy to walk or even go with the vehicle to the Omaira graves. The guid will try to take you, but everything is on maps.me and there is few panels with explication.

Very interesting place but really difficult to get info about it at the place itself.

Both museums were essentially closed.

Guides were obviously waiting at the entrance but we didn't get any useful information out of them and none of our questions (e.g. regarding to Omaira) were answered, so I guess Wikipedia it is. You can drive through to the monument of Omaira (it's on maps.me and google) and park there or anywhere on the way.

Don't miss the cemetery, it's on Google maps & maps.me, too.

Very very interesting history. Just look in Wikipedia about "Tragedia de Armero"
Impressive!

This is interesting, spooky and worth a look. There are several shady places you could park for the night, out of sight. Even some running water. Fewer mosquitoes than Maggie’s Shapely Banks nearby. Look up the history.
