Nice spot at the beach. We followed the path to the right and stopped at the cemetery for dogs/pets. We had no wind so it was a nice and peaceful place. Our neighbors were quiet so we slept perfectly.

Report Check-In

Hid our big box van behind some dunes on big flat rocky area for protection from strong winds. Great beach walk, lots of cool rocks and unusual sponges, kelps, and egg masses on shore. Can walk up the cliff from the road by the red shrines. Lots of interesting geology in the cliff layers and rocks. Beach goes forever at low tide.

Report Check-In

Nothing spectacular really, just a place to spend the night. A bit of wind protection but not much. Many vehicles driving around until sunset. Some trash blown by the wind. Quiet at night. No issues.

Cabo domingo
Très agréable lieu
Dans le sable et face à la mer
Accessible en camping-car en y allant doucement
Les dunes et la falaise nous protège partiellement du vent
Endroit tranquille fréquenté par les locaux
Pas de service

Report Check-In

Not dog friendly! Dogs got covered in thorns in seconds they came outside 😭

Report Check-In

perfect place. quiet and wind sheltered from the hill. 4G outside the van :)

Report Check-In

As we got there everything was flooded and we had very strong winds at night, we found no shelter for our roof tent. Would not recommend coming here in winter without 4×4 and high clearance. A lot of trash, also found two big dead dogs wrapped in plastic bags and some more skeletons scattered around everywhere.

Report Check-In

nice place with an easy road in. even though in the sand it's hard packed. lots of people for sunset and even more for sunrise. lots of little nooks and crannies to find a sheltered area. no size restrictions.

Cabo domingo beach. possibility to come with any type of vehicle, but we do not recommend the dunes to non 4x4 vehicles. you can shelter from the wind in the dunes and even pitch tents there. rather quiet even if there are sometimes motorcycles or quads in the dunes. be careful not to walk below the cliff because we witnessed a landslide. you can also climb up the cliff via a footpath.

Great place, felt safe, nice for beach walks. Some local fishers and families in the evening but you can also easily hide in the dunes. Some cell service with Claro.

Report Check-In

Pretty much the only option along this road

Great protection for low tents

Tracks to the dunes fine for motorbikes

Hidden from the road and other visitors to the beach/dunes.

Limited phone signal.

No filterable water.

Report Check-In

Quit place, you can park your tent, car, truck on many spots. Dunes only protect for tents.
I decide to sleep in the car instead of rooftoptent.

The wind is strong and blows a lot of sand.

If you want to do an activity, there is an opertunity to climb the cliff.

Report Check-In

Beautiful location to spend the night between the dunes. Some dunes are about 3m high and provide wind shelter. 4x4 needed for the first row.

Report Check-In

Wife spot near by the road and close to the ocean. Could be very muddy but accessible for van, 4*4 and tent. Very windy but good enough for the night. Trash available.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Dunes are low so don’t stop all the wind. Not good for tents, but campers ok. Great views from top of cliff.

Report Check-In

Nice to stay , on the way to Ushuaia. we stayed with our camping trailer. no wind. just the noise of the waves. some garbage near most protected places. local people with motorcycle. calme during week days.

Report Check-In

Nice place along the beach, sandy if you want to park close to the water.

there is a cliff with dosen of Ibis birds. super.

Report Check-In

Good spot right next to the beach. Plenty of room so easy to find a flat spot either in the dunes or against the hill. Some wind protection if you can find the right spot. Our rooftop tent was alright.

Report Check-In

For cyclists it might be better to ask at the Museo Monseñor Fagnano, the old church and Mision a bit south. I was allowed to camp there and had a good wind sheltered spot.

Report Check-In

Nice but very windy place. Unfortunately a lot of rubbish along the dunes. Ok to stay for one night. With 2wd we stayed about 50m from the beach.

Report Check-In

I was there with my bicycle and didn't like this spot too much. The sand dunes didn't provide a lot of wind shelter and some of them would be hard to reach with a bicycle. It was pretty windy when I was there. I ended pitching up my tent in a lower pit near the road a bit away from the shrine parking. the views from the top of the hill were amazing.

Report Check-In

nice and calm! beautiful beach and no wind only the waves can be heard :) watch out without 4wd since there are some sand banks, but you will see it before you enter it. we drove a view metres towards south on that beach to get rid of the motor quads even driving on a Monday afternoon :)

Report Check-In

Lots of motor cycles racing as well as quodbikes. The area is big so you can find a spot in the dunes far enough away. Watch out that you don’t get stuck.

Report Check-In

Slept there a night when driving to Ushuaia. Some garbage and some locals around. Driving up to the beach is only possible with 4wd, we slept about 50m from the beach with a 2wd. Little wind protection there. Probably better protected if you can drive further into the dunes.

Report Check-In

Nice spot in front of the beach. On weekends there is a lot of youngsters driving through the dunes so be careful where to put your tent. There is also a lot of rubbish near the main track. Find a good spot to protect you from the wind.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night no issues. A few locals around, they were very friendly. Some garbage.

Report Check-In

This was a perfect place for us: spending the night here before crossing the border the next morning.
Quiet, nice spot with wind protection!

Report Check-In

Face à l'Atlantique, calme sauf le bruit des vagues et du vent

Report Check-In

We stopped here for the night as it was already late and there aren't many options.
Some other overlanders parked here and two backpackers camped.
The place was nice, directly at the beach which wasn't dirty at all.
Night was quiet, not much wind.
We would definitely stay here again.

Report Check-In

we stopped for lunch. windy and a bit durty. some locals in the spot. we would not camp here for the night.

Report Check-In

Sweet spot right by the Atlantic ocean. Surprisingly not as windy as expected - just find a spot between some sand dunes. Do the tiny hike up the hill to the view point as the views are amazing

Report Check-In

Very windy day and a Sunday when we pulled in so there were a great deal of vehicles going backwards and forwards to the beach. Usual problems with rubbish being blown around with the added nuisance of quite a lot of broken beer bottles in the sand dunes. If you can tuck yourself into the hillside or one of the deeper dunes you can get some shelter from the wind. It's an ok stopover for one night and free.

Report Check-In

No amenities, a bit exposed to the wind but nice area well off road in dunes near the crashing waves of the Atlantic. Lots of space for any sized rig and tents would be fine here if the owners can deal with the icy cold wind. Free.

Report Check-In

Fantastic wild camp. Dunes provide some shelter from wind if selected carefully. Views from cliffs. Quiet. Local spot for fishing in daytime but everyone nice and welcoming.
