Latest Check-Ins

Campground was not yet open when we visited, we were offered a cabana for 40,000CP for the two of us, but decided not to stay. We asked about overnight parking near the waterfall but were told it isn’t allowed even when the camping is closed.

beautiful place nearby the waterfall salto princesa and salto indio is nearby. clean toilets en very hot showers (great!). de sites has a lot of shades. Only thing is a lot in the morning and evening. Sunshine is on the other side of the river. Registrate at the restaurant at the beginning. We paid 4500 pesos pp. Nice and quiet. Really reccomended.

We arrived here as we "flew away" from another campground (Suizadina) where we would have been charged way too much.
The friendly lady showed us the campground which seemed to be very good (electricity and H2O on site, clean banos and hot showers) and next to the river. We would pay 15000 pesos, 5000 per adult and 5000 for our 3 kids. We informed also for the price of the cabana's and they turned out to be very good in price. She charged us 35000 for one night and 30000 per night if we would stay a second night, what we did.
We went cycling on the cyclovia (a former railway) from Manzanar to Malalcahuello. We rented bikes at "Vortice" (a tourist activity center a few kilometers down the road to Curacautin, but was quiet expensive: 50000 even after negotating!) and drove 2 x 12km. We had an ice cream in the minimercado of Malalcahuello. We loved it and the kids too!
Oh, by the way, this waterfall is very beautiful, you will even enjoy it after having visited Iguazu :-)
