It was a Saturday and there was only a security guy here who said there was no one around and they could not help us even if there was. we went back on Monday and were told this is no longer Cartagas and they do not sell propane.

Filled our US fixed tank without question. Only spot we found in Colombia that would do it. 40k to fill up our ~30L tank. Looks stetchy but the best places always do.

After a long day wasted searching, these were the only guys in Cartagena willing to fill up my built-in Westfalia gas tank. They used a huge hose so we had to lift my van a bit, but no problem. I guess officially it’s illegal, but here at this run down place they can still help you out.

This is now closed as an official propane dealer. However you can drive to the very back to get. A gravity fill. They do not have adapters. My Mexican tank was no problem.

Cartagas south of Cartagena filled my US tanks and had also filled German tanks with US adapter earlier (so I heard). The place looks a bit shabby but staff was very friendly and helpful. I got 2 standard US tanks filled for 40.000 COP (< 20 US$).
