Description

Nice place few steps from the beach. Well maintained pools, hammocks, toilets, showers, cabañas and restaurant. 10 usd per vehicule with electricity. Our 28 feet rig fit easily. Santiago the owner was really nice to us. He even offered me to look at the hotel further down if it was better for us. Which we did but they would charge 40 usd. The other ioverlander spot suggested next door had dirty pools. Highly recommended with kids as the beach is close by and pools are clean and refreshing. Very quiet at night, no dogs and no noise from the road.👍

The new price for camping is $25, regardless of whether you use electricity or other services. The place is noisy and can be a little intimidating. The photos in the presentation are from there, but they do not completely reflect reality.

we stayed at the place next door (to the west). we found it cleaner and less busy. we paid, $15 per vehicle and $3 per person to use the pool.
we prefer this place as it is less busy, much leaner and has a balcony restaurant overlooking the beach.
$10 included power for the camper.

We stayed one night with our european RV. We had to negociated to pay only 10 USD + ordering something... They wanted 10 USD per day starting at 7:00PM...
Very noisy all the day long with very loud music starting at 7:00PM till 7:00AM even if they are no customer ...
Not really recommend but not a lot of choice in the area with big rigs.

Place is fine for one or two days. There is a nice older lady on the grounds that is very friendly and helpful. Carolina herself is kind of a reserved person. Price is still 10$ per night. Electricity would cost extra, we did not use it. Pool is clean enough to enjoy the cool water. Rigs up to about 3m high and 7m long can get in. Wifi is not working anymore (they didn’t pay the fee anymore).

Carolina a scammer, pleasant as a prison door, after setting the price of the site at $10, electricity is added, starting very low she wants $7 a night (I got it at $4) at the when paying it adds daytime electricity. The turmoil begins.

Nice place and very friendly people. Try the fish and the camarones of Santiagos wife! We paid 10 US$ prr night. Stayed two nights. Beach is close, pools are very good to swim in and will cool you down. It's hot and humid at the coast of El Salvador!

Got here fron Mizata and had a wonderful time. Owner Santiago was super helpful at providing direction and even took me to the internet cafe to get copies and laminations. At the moment of the writing the campsite was 10USD por dos personas (did not have to negotiate). Room enough for a Ram 2500 with a slide in camper (3,2 mts height). Walking distance from el Tunco.
Playa tranquila.

Nice place, nice pool but they charged 15 $ per night for two persons, one rig. wifi was not available in the parking lot.

Positives: the people running Campground nice, they clean pool every morning, food was good and decent price (we had fish, carne and papas fritas and beer).
We found an amazing brewery up the street called Cadejo with best beers we’ve had since the US, great view and good food. American prices however.

Negatives: beach has a lot of trash and tons of debris/sticks. Very hot. Showers not very private.

Report Check-In

Rustic facilities, pool is cleaner than some, Nice staff.

Came for a couple of days but ended up staying a week.
We did check out the other options in town but decided at 3.75 metres we were too tall for the low cables.
Very clean pool. Food and cold beers available. Beach and warm Pacific surf.
WiFi available at the bar/restaurant area.

Friendly owner Santiago. Large and small pool. Just a few steps to a wide open beautiful black sand beach. Small-medium waves (our 6-year-old daughter could happily play in them, plus there were surfers). Quiet safe place.

asked $20 for us to pitch a tent with no electricity. agreed to $10 after some back and forth but not with pool included. looked like there was plenty of grassy place but had us pitch just behind the restaurant on the sànd (next to trash piles). Great beach location and better than el tuck town which was complete chaos on the new year's weekend.

nice owner. be sure to turn left about 1/2 way down the dirt road as you head towards the water. we took our van down to the beach road and had a bit if trouble turning it around with low clearance and lots of poles.
