we arrived at this point at night, it is an area which is now used for the storage of fill. not very welcoming and exposed to the wind. we finally spent the night on one of the following points of ioverlander, much better.

nous sommes arrivés de nuit sur ce point, c’est une zone qui sert maintenant au stockage de remblais. pas très accueillants et exposé au vent. nous avons finalement passé la nuit sur un des points suivant d’ioverlander, beaucoup mieux.

Lovely location to stay for the night. In our big rig it is possible for a little bit of wind shelter if you go behind the big rock. Not much traffic going past during the day and even less in the night. Depending on where you stop on this spot means you won't be visible from the road. Good 3g signal on Entel and nothing on Claro.

Great place to spent the night halfway Puerto Guadal and Chile Chico. Beautiful sunset behind the snowcapped mountains. Feels really in the middle of nowhere.

Wonderful place to stay overnight or for a picnic in a day. Sunset in front for you, great view of a General Carrara lake and the mountains. No wind protection, but has a place besides a rock with small depretion that gives some wind protection. We use a tent on the grass and a rooftop tent on my jeep..

Lindo lugar para uma noite ou para um lanche durante o dia. Pôr-do-sol bem de frente para o local, uma linda vista do lago General Carrara e da cordilheira. Sem proteção para o vento, porém ao lado de uma rocha existe uma pequena depressão no terreno que fornece alguma proteção. Usamos uma barraca na grana e uma no teto do jipe.

From Chile Chico westwards: After coming down from the cliff road, pass a small bridge and about 500 m farther to the right. Grassy meadow, dirt track leading towards lake, find your spot ✌ Will be muddy in rainy weather

Probably the best spot to stop on this road in between Chile Chico and Puerto Guadal.
Not to close from the road and amazing view.

Good overnight place. Level grassy aera. View is amazing. No wind protection.

Too windy and only one location can be relatively straight. there are nicer corners after.

great spot, great views and the road from Chile Chico is not as bad as what people say. In fact the scenery and views are amazing.
