The first and (according to the ranger) most important information we received at the information centre was, that overnight stays on Peninsula Valdes are only allowed in Puerto Piramides. All other sites are against the rules.
Report Check-InNice place at the beach. Busy during the day and weekends, but quiet at night. Only a few locals spent the night here.
NB When we drove back a gate was closed (without lock). This was open when we arrived.
Short drive from Puerto Piramides. We were the only campers at the beach. No services. Still windy.
Report Check-InFree. This is the road to the right (east) and according to map and ranger the name is point Tehuelche. Ranger at info center said fine to camp here. No one else here. We drove motorcycles onto pebble beach and set up tent. Very beautiful and peaceful. Ranger also said if wind from south this is better area to camp. If from north then the free camping near the town. She looked up wind report for us. Recommend checking into visitor center after you enter park. Very helpful and got a good map.
Report Check-InThe Rangers said we could camp here for free in the National Park. Nice pebble beech. Fisherman camping here too. No facilities. Free.
