This place is GENIOUS. Came back a second time coming back up from Ushuaia. Was actually looking forward. Heated bathrooms, great showers, good pressure. Open from 9 to 9, closed on Mondays. Wide parking spots, suitable for big rigs. Also space to put up a tent.

not a good pressure in the women's toilets but for sure very warm and unlimited. a good deal and there is also a free wifi.

Open 9-21 Tuesday to Sunday. Clean and the heaters are going crazy hot. we stayed here going south and going north. Slept in the parking lot in front of the building.

Local excelente, passamos a noite na frente sem nenhum problema.
Tomamos um bom banho pela manhã, e estava aberto a porta do fundo, entrem por trás e Funciona das 9h as 21h.
Vale a pena também uma caminhada na cidade.

Just awesome !! For free you get a very god and hot shower in heated bathroom. Very clean, space to put you stuff. Just perfect!

not open on the Friday before Easter. I would assume also not open on other government holidays. the municipal campground was open so we showered there.

Just had a shower, perfect ! Went there a Tuesday morning around 10:00am and no one was there.
Free wifi available.

This is an oasis for sure. As others said, the cleanest public bathrooms we've seen so far. Working hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am to 9pm. Showers are hot, good and free. Please, if you make use of this infrastructure, leave it better than it was when you came. This place is a gem!

Super hot and clean. Next to informacion turistica ( next to municipality).. the ladies shower is missing the shower head but it still works, just hold the hose .. thank you Cerro Sombrero!

Travelling by bicycle northbound towards Magellan strait crossing. Everything was closed when I arrived. Disappointed that I couldn’t refill water bottles here or take a warm shower.

Nice nice nice! We arrived at 20:30h, could still have a nice and hot shower. Very clean! We slept on the parking spot next to the tourist office. Very quiet, lot of street lighting.

As mentioned below, the cleanest bathrooms we found so far in South America and absolutely for free (not common for Chile). Hot water in a heated and sparkling clean room - simply amazing.
There is also a friendly black kitty living in the building, so you rather hold the main door closed. Free WiFi at the whole town!
Though, there is not something special to make this town worth passing by or stopping, these public bathrooms just make for it!

These showers are awesome! Cleanest showers we've seen in a long time. We stayed in the parking lot outside the front on Sunday evening as the office was closed. Toilets were left open all night so ideal! Few locals came along to use them and chat with us as I think they found it a bit odd that tourists would be there! Free town Wi-Fi too that was more than capable of downloading Netflix shows from this location. We wanted to leave before opening time of tourist office(9am) but ended up staying until about 10am as it still wasn't open. According to some other overlanders the municipal campsite was locked so not an option.

This is absolutely AWESOME! As previously said, the showers are super clean, more than in various campings. They are with hot shower with good pressure.

Absolutely the BEST thing ever. Hot showers in an immaculately clean and heated bathroom! Just wonderful.
We ended up setting up our rooftop tent on the dirt side road behind the bathrooms. Go see Enrique at the Tourist Information Office next door and he’ll point it out. He’s the loveliest guy as well, and had so many tips and pieces of advice for us!

Execelente! Banheiros públicos novos e grátis. Tudo muito limpo, com chuveiros quentes e calefação. Apenas o estacionacionamento que está em obras, mas há espaço nos arredores. Próximo a um posto de combustível e ao lado do ponto de informações turísticas. Aberto das 09:00 às 21:00.

this is probably the nicest bathroom we've been to in South America. including all the Copecs and campgrounds we've stayed in. please follow the rules and keep the place clean or they may end up closing down places like this.

This is the most random, yet amazing thing ever. Free showers, you can camp there (not sure if ok with a tent but I'm sure nobody would mind), free showers and toilets. Everything super clean as it is cleaned every day. And to top it all off, great wifi.

PLEASE leave this place at least as clean as you found it so they'll hopefully keep it open for everyone's enjoyment for a very long time.

Agree totally, bathroom is great , never seen South America before AND FREE, there is no real parking lot in front though and the road is rather busy so I parked on the grass right in front of the building and stayed for the night, no one bothered me, not the quietest place but safe and free

So nice and clean! Camped with a van and tent overnight. Posted hours are Monday to Friday 9-9 but they came at 9 on a Saturday and opened up like it was normal. Small downside- while it is closed overnight there isn't much privacy to pee.

We stayed here twice (on the way to Ushuaia and the way back north) and both times were fabulous. Lovely clean bathrooms and showers, good WiFi that reaches out to the van, and the building is heated. It’s just a quick walk to the little market by the plaza for anything you might need. We hunkered down and did some much needed internet stuff for a few days. This place was a sanctuary after all the rougher wild camps of the last 2 months.

This is a perfect place to camp for the night, the bathroom facilities are beyond perfect. Clean, hottest water, power outlets, everything you need. They are open 365 days a year from 9 am to 9 pm.

near to the tourist information there is a new building with free showers and toilets. very clean, hot water, just perfect...
also great information center with computers and and very helpful and enthusiastic guy. plenty of advices for south Chile.
