Parking at the head of the 3km trail up to La Cumbre. 10pesos for the night inside or you can park in front, next to the road for free.
Noise from the road.
We arrived at about 11:30pm. It was dark out but we just slep beside the road in our RTT. It was fine. we toured downtown and visited the Cervzazeria we spent enough money so the free camp was a treat. The trailhead is right there so you can do a good little hike to stretch the legs. The lot was very dirty and truckers look to use it as a bathroom. It was gross watch your step. But for just a place to sleep it wasnt bad. We sure wouldnt cook there.
