Camping on the edge of a lovely river. You need to pay the NP entrance for a day which includes two days of camping.
When the sun shines the park is beautiful. During high season it can be busy.
4 portable toilets.
No trash.
No phone service.

After snow and rain it was very muddy.
The grassfield is uneven and slippery.
With our Front wheel RV it was possible to stuck so we decided to sleep at the Visitor Center (Alakush) on the parking lot.
Nobody bothered us. In the morning a lot of tour buses.
Inside the building is warm and they have toilets and a small museum.

Report Check-InWe stayed at this camping for all of our time in the park. There’s plenty of space for motorhomes and the toilets are cleaned every day. Best to go straight after the cleaner has been, around 8.30am to be the first one to use them. 4 toilets at this site. From here you can drive to the visitor centre (5 min drive) and start a lot of the walks from here too. We did all of the walks at the end of Ruta 3 (walking from the camping) and drove to the visitor centre and did all the walks that start there. Great location to explore the park.
Report Check-InSmall but very nice and scenic. You have a few hikes you can do that in walking distance from the campground, including hiking to the end of RN3. 4 toilets, no trash. No water.

You need to fill an online form at the visitors center but nobody asked about it at the campground.
No phone service but excellent for Starlink.
We saw a Caracara hanging around the campground.

Report Check-InVery nice quiet place to camp near a river in the National Park. It is free (after paying 12.000ARS per person for entrance of the park). Many hikes around varying from 10 min. to full-day. Recommendable!
Report Check-InPretty little campground beside the river. There are new portable toilets here. We were told that there are only 2 places to camp inside the park in an RV, Laguna Verde and Rio Pipo. It costs 12 k pp but covers all of the days if you're camping which is also included. Even though the sign read differently, this is what they told us and our friend. The trails were really nice, we hiked the Cerro Guanacos from here which is 20 km round trip. We did the same for the Coastal trail and that was 20 km also. If you're in a tent I think you have many more options for a place to camp.
Report Check-Inquiet spot next to the river, rangers told us to come here, you cannot stay on the parkings in the park. There is room for a dozen vans and also tent camping. There were 4 very clean chemical toilets! (I think they put them in high season only). Park entrance was now 12000 pesos per person for 1 day or 18000 for 2 days, camping itself is free.

Really nice free campground by the river. There is no toilet and no phone signal.
We arrived at 6pm inside the park and we just had to fill up a form to camp but everything was free.
Beautiful lakeside camping with zero amenities. You can use the restrooms at the visitor center but plan ahead.

Report Check-InGreat camping spot in the park. There is no admission fee to the park in the off season! Free entrance and free camping. Nobody else at the campground in July. We got some snow, but the road is in nice condition as the snow mixes with compacted dirt for traction. It is possible to find some wind protection at this campground.

This is the furthest campground from the entrance and the closest to the end of the world so you might hear a lot of buses during the day.
There’s two chemical toilets with toilet paper and even paper hand towels.
Totally worth it. A 9/10.
Report Check-InCan accommodate vehicles of all sizes, although finding a flat spot (or indeed any spot) can be a challenge due to its popularity. If you come late enough you can avoid the offensive park price.

Report Check-InFree camping in the national park. A lot of place but a lot of campers. 4 chimicals and clean toilets. The spot is super clean, help to keep it that way, don't leave your garbage there. No water and no electricity.

We got into the park after 4pm and they didn’t charge us. We slept here just one night.
There are bathroons open 24h, no shower.

so many moskitos!! we could not enjoy the time here the other 2 campings are way better (stayed on both, the one north after the entrance has Claro connection!!)

Nice camping spot.
As already mentionned: Nice camping spot (both, for tents and campers), idyllic at a little river, very quite, clean chemical toilets. If raining this place gets very muddy, and is very uneven (for campers).
Park itself is sure nice, but nothing breathtaking if you’re from Switzerland.
But we’ve soent some nice, quite days here.
Saw (wild?) horses, magellan gooses, striated caracaras and of course gulls.
Parkrangers ripped us though, told us to pay 1120 ar pesos for 3 days and two nights. As it seems this is way to much. No one controlled when we left the park.
Two nights here, free cause we came in after 8. Ranger didn’t care, friendly man. Great hikes near here. Clean bathroom (no shower). Great view. Highly recommendable.
Compared to the beachfront at “the end of the world”, a million times better.
Lovely, quiet place near the river. In the morning kayaks will pass by.

Incredibly beautiful spot. I'm here in late April, cold but the colours of the forest are amazing, plus I'm all alone with the whole place to myself. Toilets are good and clean. Site is a bit muddy, but still plenty of spots, so careful you don't get bogged if you're coming in a van. Separate big, non-muddy area on the other side of the toilets for tents.

Report Check-InBeautiful free camping area next to a river. So quiet and peaceful which was wonderful after the noisy municipal sites. Didn’t fancy cycling in with 3 days of water so I drunk the river water either through a life straw or treated with tablets with no ill effects. The hike to cerro guanaco was my favourite. It goes right to the summit with great views and only took 4hrs both ways walking slowly, the sign saying 4hrs one way must be a mistake.

Report Check-InComing from the end of "Ruta 3" you can cross the little creek right after the bridge, if you are walking or by bike. Then just follow the little grass trail to the right for about 100 m.
There are beautyful campspots in lushy meadows with bushes and trees for wind protection and even a fire place and a hidden lagoon nearby.
Nobody from the road or the neighboured campground can see you. Completely quiet at day and night!

Report Check-InFantastic place to spend a quiet night just 20 minutes from Ushuaia proper. We were not asked to pay the entrance fee but were given great info on the park and a map. The camping area is simply a parking area with scattered fire pits. Wood is scarce in the proximity of camp but you'll find plenty of loose deadfall along the road.

We slept here for two nights with our VW Campervan. Nice and clean place with chemical toilets. Camping is free. You only have to pay the entrance fee.

There are many more sites for tent campers than vans, but we parked along the river and enjoyed our time here. Friday night was busy and there were 8 or 10 campers parked by morning. Saturday was much quieter with most people being locals having a picnic for the day. We met some very nice people here and the chem toilet was cleaned daily. Would recommend.

Report Check-InSpent a night here. Better suited for tent campers, we parked up in the car parking area near the river. It got very boggy in the morning when we left, so be careful not to rip up the grass when manouvering if this happens to you too. The toilet facilities in this park are excellent. We didn't pay to enter, as the office closes at 6pm. This does not mean the park is meant to be free - they request that you pay on the way out. Very much a personal decision, but remember that a clean, tidy park doesn't just happen for free... At least take out all your rubbish when you go,as it is a big job for the rangers to clear the bins and dispose of the waste.
Report Check-InInfo on park entry: We tried to enter the park on Sunday night around 8:30-9pm together with some other travelers. The ticket booth was closed but the Rangers stopped us to say we'll need to pay on our way back out. They did indeed have cones blocking the road on the way out. Not sure if it was unlucky timing or if they're becoming stricter. We also couldn't have had a fire and no pets are allowed so we decided to not go in since we had bbq plans.
Report Check-Ina simple grassland campground with toilet and a sink/tap to take water. No need to seek for that water though because the campground is located on the side of a river and lake. Nothing big here - free nights except for the park entry fee.

Great camping site. After 18 hs the entrance to the park became free. Technically you can stay for 2 nights. Clean toilets, papervtowels and liquid soap. Great sights. Not so crowded even in january. Quieter if you camp away from the route but your vehicle will be away also. You may light fire only if you bring wood from outside the park and if the fire risk is not too high
Report Check-InWe got a tip to enter the park after 20.00, as entrance would be free at that time. We came around 20.30, and the rangers let us enter the park without paying entrance fee. Not sure if this is policy or just good luck, but worth the try. Camped here two nights. Nice spots (no shelter), lots of firewood and clean (pit)toilets with sinks (water is not for drinking I guess).

Magnificent site on grass right at the river and the Laguna Verde. Great view of the surrounding mountains. Outhouses and a barrel for dumping. At the park entrance you will receive a small map with beautiful hiking trails.
