Nobody bothered us. In the morning a lot of tour buses.
Inside the building is warm and they have toilets and a small museum.

Report Check-In

Le meilleur stationnement du parc! Entouré de la rivière, buissons et rochers. Possibilité de prendre de l'eau. Toilettes très propres avec du papier.

Report Check-In

calm, safe, clean. plenty of space for all kinds of travellers.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights. Parked next to the river and if was quiet at night. Lots of other campers around. Safe, clean toilets. Tons of hikes right outside camp.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot. Quiet and peaceful at night with the sound of a small river. The pit toilets are new so they smell good.

Report Check-In

Big flat grassy place, Nice view near the river. Small toilets clean but smelling. Big rig friendly. Place for many rigs also for tent after the toilets. Quiet but can be very windy. Not really protected by the wind. Better near post office for wind protection.

Report Check-In

We stayed at this camping for all of our time in the park. There’s plenty of space for motorhomes and the toilets are cleaned every day. Best to go straight after the cleaner has been, around 8.30am to be the first one to use them. 4 toilets at this site. From here you can drive to the visitor centre (5 min drive) and start a lot of the walks from here too. We did all of the walks at the end of Ruta 3 (walking from the camping) and drove to the visitor centre and did all the walks that start there. Great location to explore the park.

Report Check-In

Small but very nice and scenic. You have a few hikes you can do that in walking distance from the campground, including hiking to the end of RN3. 4 toilets, no trash. No water.

Very quiet at night.

You need to fill an online form at the visitors center but nobody asked about it at the campground.

No phone service but excellent for Starlink.

We saw a Caracara hanging around the campground.

Report Check-In

perfect place to stop in the par for couple of nights, next to the river, beautiful nature, quiet place, absolutly love it

Report Check-In

Nice leveled place, clean toilets. Woke up into cold morning after rainy night. Mountain tops all arround were covered with fresh snow :)

Report Check-In

Very nice quiet place to camp near a river in the National Park. It is free (after paying 12.000ARS per person for entrance of the park). Many hikes around varying from 10 min. to full-day. Recommendable!

Report Check-In

Pretty little campground beside the river. There are new portable toilets here. We were told that there are only 2 places to camp inside the park in an RV, Laguna Verde and Rio Pipo. It costs 12 k pp but covers all of the days if you're camping which is also included. Even though the sign read differently, this is what they told us and our friend. The trails were really nice, we hiked the Cerro Guanacos from here which is 20 km round trip. We did the same for the Coastal trail and that was 20 km also. If you're in a tent I think you have many more options for a place to camp.

Report Check-In

quiet spot next to the river, rangers told us to come here, you cannot stay on the parkings in the park. There is room for a dozen vans and also tent camping. There were 4 very clean chemical toilets! (I think they put them in high season only). Park entrance was now 12000 pesos per person for 1 day or 18000 for 2 days, camping itself is free.

Report Check-In

We did not camp here because they wanted to charge 12.000 ARS per person.
It,s almost the cost of a centolla dinner. 😬😬
Anyway, views are much nicer from Puerto Almanza.

Report Check-In

Very busy. Close to Ruta 3. calm at night. no toilet.

Report Check-In

Really nice free campground by the river. There is no toilet and no phone signal.
We arrived at 6pm inside the park and we just had to fill up a form to camp but everything was free.

Report Check-In

Beautiful lakeside camping with zero amenities. You can use the restrooms at the visitor center but plan ahead.

Report Check-In

Superbe nuit seul dans le parc avec une vue magique. Aucun service pas de reseau mais le bruit des oiseaux et un renard curieux. Ca vaut le detour presque au bout de la route 3 Gratuit !!

Report Check-In

Great camping spot in the park. There is no admission fee to the park in the off season! Free entrance and free camping. Nobody else at the campground in July. We got some snow, but the road is in nice condition as the snow mixes with compacted dirt for traction. It is possible to find some wind protection at this campground.

Report Check-In

The park entry was AR$1500 for argentinians and AR$5500 for foreigners. It included 3 days and 2 nights of camping.

This is the furthest campground from the entrance and the closest to the end of the world so you might hear a lot of buses during the day.

There’s two chemical toilets with toilet paper and even paper hand towels.

Totally worth it. A 9/10.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place to spend the night by the river

Report Check-In

Can accommodate vehicles of all sizes, although finding a flat spot (or indeed any spot) can be a challenge due to its popularity. If you come late enough you can avoid the offensive park price.

Report Check-In

Clean bathrooms. Papel soap and clenex. Great place, the river flow and stop by the sea level. Sometimes river, sometimes lagoon.

Report Check-In

Nice camping spot, free and clean
it's possible to "swim" in the river (confirmed by the gendarmeria)

If your travelling in motocycle or bicycle it's possible to park at the gendarmeria. They were really nice and looked after my

Report Check-In

Place close to river but also to the street. Very crowded with car tourists.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place, free, but we had a bad day: There were Brazilians next to us, who celebrated Patry until 4:00 a.m. and left all their garbage. The next morning the birds went about it.

Report Check-In

Entrance price for extranjeros 3200 arp/ person.
Beautiful and quiet place. Now with chemical toilets.

Report Check-In

Local seguro e muito bonito para ficar. Há banheiros químicos muito limpos e com água. Não há local para lixo. Não há chuveiros. Se entrar após as 21h é grátis

Report Check-In

Free camping in the national park. A lot of place but a lot of campers. 4 chimicals and clean toilets. The spot is super clean, help to keep it that way, don't leave your garbage there. No water and no electricity.

Camping gratuit à l'intérieur du park. Il y a beaucoup de places mais aussi beaucoup de campeurs. 4 toilettes chimiques propres. Le lieu est super propre. Aidez à le conserver dans cet état. Repartez avec vos déchets. Pas d'eau, pas d'électricité.

Report Check-In

Lugar lindo , com rio e montanhas. Apenas banheiro. Não tem energia ou água. Paga a entrada do parque e não paga para acampar / motorhome.

Great spot next to a river and mountains. Toilets only. No water or electricity. You have to pay NP entrance but then you don't pay to sleep here.

Report Check-In

Nice spot to put your camper, with tent it is better to walk past the toilets and find more sheltered places. Great views and watch for seals in the river! We saw two swimming by.

Report Check-In

entrancw to the park is now 3200 for foreigners .I honestly felt has gone up a bit much ,when u can do quiet a few hikes foe free around Ushuaia.did not go

Report Check-In

In Jan 2021, the entrance fee is 2100 pesos per person which includes camping for two nights and 3 days in the park. Well worth it. Beautiful trails.

Report Check-In

Uno-home. Área de camping aberto, perto do rio e linda vista das montanhas. Sem qualquer estrutura. Melhor view.

Report Check-In

Lovely bushcamp right on the river, no services

Report Check-In

Prices changed 580 pesos for 1 day/night.
For 2 days and 3 nights 850 pesos.
Nice camping spot.

Report Check-In

As already mentionned: Nice camping spot (both, for tents and campers), idyllic at a little river, very quite, clean chemical toilets. If raining this place gets very muddy, and is very uneven (for campers).
Park itself is sure nice, but nothing breathtaking if you’re from Switzerland.
But we’ve soent some nice, quite days here.
Saw (wild?) horses, magellan gooses, striated caracaras and of course gulls.
Parkrangers ripped us though, told us to pay 1120 ar pesos for 3 days and two nights. As it seems this is way to much. No one controlled when we left the park.

Report Check-In

Two nights here, free cause we came in after 8. Ranger didn’t care, friendly man. Great hikes near here. Clean bathroom (no shower). Great view. Highly recommendable.
Compared to the beachfront at “the end of the world”, a million times better.

Report Check-In

Lovely, quiet place near the river. In the morning kayaks will pass by.

Report Check-In

Très joli camping à l’intérieur du parc.

Report Check-In

beautiful spot, plenty of space, stayed 2 nights with big camper van

Report Check-In

Only spot they told us we could stay.
Great overviews. Plenty of flat space. Very quiet. Such beautiful stars sky at night. We loved it

No facilities at all.
Ranger told is the water was contaminated.
Allowed to do fire and asado

Report Check-In

Incredibly beautiful spot. I'm here in late April, cold but the colours of the forest are amazing, plus I'm all alone with the whole place to myself. Toilets are good and clean. Site is a bit muddy, but still plenty of spots, so careful you don't get bogged if you're coming in a van. Separate big, non-muddy area on the other side of the toilets for tents.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. Very nice place, toilets open all night. Park ranger comes by at night and issues camping permit. No issues.

Report Check-In

Lovely spot right on creek, a bit hard to get level. Super quiet and clean bathrooms.

Report Check-In

Beautiful free camping area next to a river. So quiet and peaceful which was wonderful after the noisy municipal sites. Didn’t fancy cycling in with 3 days of water so I drunk the river water either through a life straw or treated with tablets with no ill effects. The hike to cerro guanaco was my favourite. It goes right to the summit with great views and only took 4hrs both ways walking slowly, the sign saying 4hrs one way must be a mistake.

Report Check-In

We stayed on this beautiful place for two nights. There are a lot of other people un campers and tents, but quiet anyway. We parked directly on the river and had a great view. Clean pit tiolets available.

Report Check-In

Nice campground. Campers can park along the river. Bathrooms clean, park rangers really friendly. Great hiking trails all around.

Report Check-In

This place appears to be the same as the Laguna Verde Free Camping but at the wrong location. The other entry is correct. I looked around there is no way getting to this location. Also someone's comment states close to the road but there is no road on that side of the lake.

Report Check-In

Coming from the end of "Ruta 3" you can cross the little creek right after the bridge, if you are walking or by bike. Then just follow the little grass trail to the right for about 100 m.
There are beautyful campspots in lushy meadows with bushes and trees for wind protection and even a fire place and a hidden lagoon nearby.
Nobody from the road or the neighboured campground can see you. Completely quiet at day and night!

Report Check-In

great place to stay if you're spending some days in the park. for foreigners the fee is now 490Arg-pesos and you can stay 3 days and 2 nights.
quiet and clean toilets.

Report Check-In

perfect to departure for the walks around. nice!

parfait pour y dormir et partir faire les randonnées autour. toilettes sur place. bcp de vent!

2.4 km from the end of the N3. nice spot but lots of people around during the day.

Report Check-In

Great spot for overlanders, close to road, but road is quite, chemical toilets in the camp area. $350pesos to enter per person, pretty beautiful spot

Report Check-In

Perfect spot for cyclists.... enjoyed the cold water for a shower.

Report Check-In

Very nice place with wiew on snowed mountains. We stayed there 2 nights. From march to october the park entrance is free and you can stay inside as long as you want.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Fantastic place to spend a quiet night just 20 minutes from Ushuaia proper. We were not asked to pay the entrance fee but were given great info on the park and a map. The camping area is simply a parking area with scattered fire pits. Wood is scarce in the proximity of camp but you'll find plenty of loose deadfall along the road.

Report Check-In

Nice place, but didn't like the mouse who visited us in the car during the night....
No drinking water in the entire park, so bring enough with you.

Report Check-In

We slept here for two nights with our VW Campervan. Nice and clean place with chemical toilets. Camping is free. You only have to pay the entrance fee.

Report Check-In

Nice, quite ,tents have better place to set up.

Report Check-In

Nice place, toilets and dump station available. Probably the best place for big rigs in the park.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the national park. Park admission was $210 CLP per person for foreigners. There are many more sites for tent campers than vans, but we parked along the river and enjoyed our time here. Friday night was busy and there were 8 or 10 campers parked by morning. Saturday was much quieter with most people being locals having a picnic for the day. We met some very nice people here and the chem toilet was cleaned daily. Would recommend.

Report Check-In

Nice Spot
Special; Toillets and Chem Toillet Dumpstation

Report Check-In

nice NP, but now 210 pes. p/p , valid for 2 nights 3 days stay. good for RV and sep. areal for tents.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights at this nice campground, next to a sideriver of the Laguna Verde. Two big birds (don't know which) living in this area. Saw them in the morning and evening.

Report Check-In

Wonderful campsite between river and mountains. Nice walking tracks and the end of the route No. 3 is in the park.

Report Check-In

Free with park entry fee, currently 210ars per person for three days and two nights. Very clean chemical toilet facilities.

The entrance booth to the NP was still collecting entry fees at 7:15pm when we arrived so unable to get in free, no sign of control at the exit.

Report Check-In

No charge to enter the park (or camp) - maybe its free in winter, so camping was free too. Beautiful spot with walks nearby and wild horses around.

Report Check-In

Free campsite at a nice location next to a river in the park. Toilets and fire places available. Park entry ARS 175 per person.

Report Check-In

Spent a night here. Better suited for tent campers, we parked up in the car parking area near the river. It got very boggy in the morning when we left, so be careful not to rip up the grass when manouvering if this happens to you too. The toilet facilities in this park are excellent. We didn't pay to enter, as the office closes at 6pm. This does not mean the park is meant to be free - they request that you pay on the way out. Very much a personal decision, but remember that a clean, tidy park doesn't just happen for free... At least take out all your rubbish when you go,as it is a big job for the rangers to clear the bins and dispose of the waste.

Report Check-In

Info on park entry: We tried to enter the park on Sunday night around 8:30-9pm together with some other travelers. The ticket booth was closed but the Rangers stopped us to say we'll need to pay on our way back out. They did indeed have cones blocking the road on the way out. Not sure if it was unlucky timing or if they're becoming stricter. We also couldn't have had a fire and no pets are allowed so we decided to not go in since we had bbq plans.

Report Check-In

a simple grassland campground with toilet and a sink/tap to take water. No need to seek for that water though because the campground is located on the side of a river and lake. Nothing big here - free nights except for the park entry fee.
although nobody seems to care for emptying the trashbins....with the fox visiting this is not the best picture in the morning.

Report Check-In

Great camping site. After 18 hs the entrance to the park became free. Technically you can stay for 2 nights. Clean toilets, papervtowels and liquid soap. Great sights. Not so crowded even in january. Quieter if you camp away from the route but your vehicle will be away also. You may light fire only if you bring wood from outside the park and if the fire risk is not too high

Report Check-In

Muy buen lugar, hermosos paisajes lastima no tenga ducha!!!!

Report Check-In

We got a tip to enter the park after 20.00, as entrance would be free at that time. We came around 20.30, and the rangers let us enter the park without paying entrance fee. Not sure if this is policy or just good luck, but worth the try. Camped here two nights. Nice spots (no shelter), lots of firewood and clean (pit)toilets with sinks (water is not for drinking I guess).

Report Check-In

The2Dutch. Nice, quiet place. Clean toilets. We stay here 2 nights and different walks.

Report Check-In

Free camping site on the edge of a lovely river. The National park entry fee is 140 pesos per person, children free and technically is valid for 3 days and 2 nights. When the sun shines the park is beautiful. As it was high season when we were there it was busy. Toilets available. Free.

Report Check-In

To stay on the campsite for free you have to pay one time the park admission fee of 110 arg. Peso / person. The entrance fee entitled us officially to stay 2 nights / 3 days in the park. We stayed four nights in the park and no one bothered.

Magnificent site on grass right at the river and the Laguna Verde. Great view of the surrounding mountains. Outhouses and a barrel for dumping. At the park entrance you will receive a small map with beautiful hiking trails.
