Cursory inspection of camper (northbound) - super friendly guards.

Southbound in a camper van - easy check. Asked us to open the back doors and briefly looked around. Opened side doors, lifted edge of our mattress, dug through pocket on the back of passenger seat, opened main cabinet and didn’t check any other compartments. Polite & no nonsense interaction, less than 10min stop.

Definitely the most aggressive military checkpoint in Baja Norte. Thoroughly searched two times. Very friendly though.

Easy, just asked us where we were going and sent us on our way. We are headed North.

Friendly guard only asked where we came from and where we were headed. No documents shown. No inspection done. Waved through.
