A level spot in front of a closed building. A water tap is available at the building.
There is a short (20-30min) hiking trail through the pretty forest.

Quiet place to spend the night. No one was here so we walked through the forest for free. The water tap did not work for us.
Report Check-InNice place to have a short walk. Quiet and safe to spend the night. Clean bathrooms. 15 min from Panamericana, paved road.
Report Check-InThe road is now paved. You can park right in front of the round building. Bathrooms were locked and no one was around on a Monday. There is a tap with fresh water. Quiet and safe over night.
Report Check-InWe were stuck in Ecuador due to blockades and camped at the nearby lake (better place). There is a family that lives here and you can park overnight for free. Trail through forest cost $0.50/pp.
Report Check-Inthis is a really nice place to stay overnight. all as described in the first comment. except that in the „closed building“ a lady and kids were. they are responsable that no one gets lost in the forest. we came on a saturday afternoon and they left before dawn, but opened a clean toilet for us over night (in the little round hut behind). free, no claro reception at the parking but a bit higher up in the forrest.
