Lovely little paradise with palm trees and mangroves. We are the only ones here! Adorable couple run this place and were kind enough to take us in after dark. They even cooked us food after closing hours, too kind! Price is $100 pesos p.p. and showers are $15 pesos. It's all basic but it works, so no reason to complain! Dogs at night can get loud, but we slept through it. Besides, try to find something cheaper and better in the area, you can't. So I don't get why some people complain about the little things.

Good place!
But the Wi-Fi is bad, and don’t have 3g or 4g.
100p.p plus 100 for electricity.

First at all: if you have a drivers licence, entering with a 7 meter or longer motorhome is possible. you need a little ground clearance. lugar for every size of motorhome. the rest what is written is true. without electricity we paid for the camper and two people 200 mex Pesos and if you use the "showe" 15 per Person.
the only thing that disturbed us - the barking dogs during the night.

Love this spot, ended up staying two nights. Just an FYI on the dump station, it is an old shower drain set at least two car lengths back from the parking area and there are trees and sheds to navigate around and you need OK ground clearance to get up close to it. Quite the challenge for us with a 22ft motorhome. With lots of manuvering and an extra hose provided by the owners we got it sorted but just keep in mind for larger rigs. Other than that, the owners are so lovely and helpful and it's a gorgeous spot, we do recommend!

Lovely, peaceful spot right on the lake, good breeze during the day, not too many bugs. Friendly people. No swimming due to crocodiles. 200 per rig without electricity.

Stayed here for 4 weeks with a pop-up camper and paid for electricity - $300MX/night.

I can’t say enough wonderful thing about this location. The people are friendly, the food is amazing, it is relaxing and dog friendly. Mary cooks and most of the time Rogalio (I think that is the correct spelling) is there to also help with serving.

They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, invited us to a New Years Eve dinner, and helped us with our Spanish. I love this spot!

Immediately off the main road from town, on the left with a white rolling gate across the driveway. Entrance and campground is big rig friendly. The grounds are very well kept and clean. Very quiet and safe at night with very friendly staff. Electric sites for 300 mxn/night per site, non electric for 200mxn/night per site. Cabanas for rent as well. Restaurant on site.
15 Amp avail at sites. Non potable water avail per request. Banquet hall with tables/chairs, toilets and electricity avail for use. Cold outdoor showers. Black water dump is inaccessible with standard length hoses. Buggy because of the close proximity to the lagoon so bring deterrent. A great place for a solo female traveler and her two dogs! Wifi is frustratingly spotty. No telcel service at the campsite. Laundry service for a fee ($100 mxn for two small bags), kayaks for rent ($200 mxn for two person boat).

Nice grassy place nice area next to the water comma There was a man called Tarzan who used to live there actually lived in a house built in trees live there for three and a half years the place was also a movie set.. as soon as I pulled into the place They asked me was I spent in the night I said well maybe let me relax a minute and I'll We'll deal with it later period he soon returns with a bill for 200. normally things are not done this way in Mexico people relax and then pay later on. I decided I didn't want to stay there I'm sure it's fine for some people but it wasn't for me... you probably should call this a campground that's the way they are that's the way that they projected themselves period it's not an informal camping site it's a full-fledged want to be campground

We wanted to stay here for a
few weeks to pass the lockdown quarantine period of Mexico. The owner was very rude with us (European family with a kid), he said we should pay in advance but if the government ask to close down hotels and campgrounds we would be obliged to leave... he literally said "I do not want sick European coughing on my camping, I'll take my gun and shoot at them". It was a freaking psycho (and no problem with the language or misunderstanding, I am Spanish). So, of course, we did not stay and I would not recommend the place. They like our money but they don't want us in coronavirus time.

Better than expected stay by the lagoon 15 kms from Puerto Escondido. Very friendly family with a great restaurant on site. Best for dry camping, but basic 15 Amp electricity available if needed. Dump point also available. 25 pesos on the collectivo to get into town. I wouldn't bring a big 5th wheel in here, but a 36' motorhome without a toad would fit if there wasn't anybody else here.

Great spot. Easy entrance for big rigs. Super quiet minus a bit of road traffic that slows down at dusk. Not quite bug free but almost! Pretty view, welcoming friendly owner. Shady but half open sun areas for solar perfect combo. Family eatery on site. Showers/baño simple but clean. 200 pesos per vehicle 25 more for 15amp power. Super dog friendly! I asked for discount if we stayed 7 days owner was agreeable to that.
If you are looking for peaceful, good temperature, dog friendly, pretty with onsite food this is perfect!
He also has a black water dump for ya if needed. Haven’t seen that in 2.5 years jajajaja!

Great place just a few meters from Maniantepec lagoon. Basic batroom service. The food is great. The view is awesome and you can go to visit the bioluminisence experience which is awesome too. High recomended place because of the biodoversity this place has.

A big grassy area with a lot of shade at the lakeshore of the Laguna Manialtepec. Very quiet and little frequented. It is a pleasant change after the lively Zipolite beach. The whole property looks a bit run down and the showers and toilets are basic. Very friendly owners.
