Latest Check-Ins

We slept here for one night. Felt very save and welcome. A local family left at 8pm and said „buenos noche“. The beach and water is surprisingly good, not much stones and no other stuff inside. On a hot day and night the wind from the lake was a good refreshing. From the main road (with nearly no cars), the street is about 100m easy offroad, after that it goes into a sand beach, where u can stay at with a 4wd. So we parked our 2wd before the sand.

The wave where a little loud at night, but okay. First locals came at 8am.

The main road to here is in a very good condition, but prepare for the check point (see the red entry at ioverlander). They want to see your passworts (copies are okay) and want to look inside your van for some random reason.

Beautiful spot, parked right next to the water (no 4x4 required). View of volcanoes and moon rise.
No wind so we had swarms of very small flies attracted to light (not biting) that could get through our mosquito nets. Such a shame!
Didn't see anyone.

Friendly family. Nice views of lake and volcanoes. Keep an eye out in the morning for the fishermen coming in from the lake with the most enormous fish we'd ever seen! As long as I am tall!

Report Check-In

Great place to stay overnight. Free, quiet and close to the water.
