Description

It might be best option for larger rigs (not RVs) as it's 800m/half mile away from city center. Basically a secure parking lot in front of hotel, with ability to plug in 110 and hook up water. There are washrooms and showers. 350 pesos per nigh. No water on park spot.

Comment 01/2018: they ask us 450 pesos per night. without electricity and water. just for a parking place. so we don't stay here and found another free spot near the city

Perfekter Platz für Stadtbesichtigung und Minenbesichtigung. Direkt an der Bergbahn. Privates WC und Dusche.

Perfect place for city tour and mine tour. Directly at the cable car. Private toilet and shower.

This hotel is very well located just few meters from teleferico and Mina El Eden. Follows signs along the highway. Do not get confused with other hotel Baruk Spa.
There are 8 spaces more or less for RVs less than 25 ft. Only four plugs for electricity. No other service. They give you a key for 2 clean bathrooms with showers and hot water. We paid 450 pesos on January 2019. Same price than their other place. Expensive but so well located! Walk to Centro in 10 minutes downward. Very fast wifi especially if you go to the very comfortable lobby. And this is very quiet ! We stayed 3 nights.

Like the other baruk you can overnight here. Very clean showers and toilet.450 pesos night with electricity. Any noise at all
It is a better place than the other Baruk to visit Zacatecas. It is close to the Mina and the Teleferico.

We stayed here for 1 night. It’s quite expensive for what is is but you get to park in a safe spot and possibility of using their showers. They provide electricity and water and have showers for rv’s. They charged us 450 pesos - non negotiable. Internet worked very bad and the water of the shower was cold. We only stayed 1 night of 4 as we thought it was too expensive taking into consideration that you can park at cheaper/free places and pay a hostel for 100 pesos just to take a shower!

Report Check-In

As described before, 450MP/night. Place seemed ok, but where you park is kind of far from the toilets. The best spot, which for us would be next to one of the buildings was full, and we didn't like the alternative, just a regular big and empty parking facing the city. At least they had nice views. We did not stay, too expensive for what it is.

I wouldn't bother coming here. Even though it is the only camping option in this town it's not worth it. $450 pesos for a full parking lot, with no privacy or free space to move around. You better keep going...

Report Check-In

The best place to explore the city! We stayed 3 nights, quite and save.

Report Check-In

Great location, fast internet and clean bathrooms. But really expensive paid 450p for us in a truck camper.

Report Check-In

still a great place. Very good wifi, clean toilet & hot shower, 350 pesos. If your watertank is empty: fill up before your sent to your spot (next to the bathrooms) en be sure to back in to your designated camspot!

Report Check-In

No 100 pesos for dry camp. They charge 350 pesos if you sleep in your vehicle. 100 pesos if you just park and go. No soap in restrooms, very dirty. They didn't clean the restrooms for 3 days. It is easy to walk down to old town but hard to climb up to the hotel.

Report Check-In

Great place to park overnight or explore the city. Entered to spend the night and ended up staying 10 days. $350P per night. Had 15A outlet but had to drive up the hill to fill the water tank. The bathroom looked great on each visit and the showers were between warm and hot.

This site is excellent in that one can easily walk down into town in about 10-20 minutes. It's all straight down but the good part of it is that a 35peso cab ride from the center back to the hotel is available.

I would return to this place in a minute.

P.S.A previous visitor showed military on the second tier parking. I believe they may have been staying here overnight because this is not military base and all is quiet. In fact, there were not even any all night barking dogs or all morning crowing roosters that I noticed.

It's great ..... a few more water faucets and a place to dump would have made it perfect. Visited in 24' rig.

Good place to park and sleep overnight. We paid 100 peso's per day for dry camping

Report Check-In

Splendid. Perfect. Nice staff. We had a great afternoon in the city, beautiful view from our allocated parking space and spent a perfect night. The little breaze up there on the hill was a real treat after the heat of the day. Showers were warm. Good WiFi. 350 Pesos/night for us two with our VW van. We can recommend it without hesitation.

Hotel next to tram with great views of this colorful city. At 8200ft it was cold but still a convenient spot to spend a couple of nights. We didn't use the electrical although it was available. Wifi and a key to the bathroom/ shower. Really spends at 350mx but great location.

Report Check-In

Stayed here two nights for 100p per night w/o services. They ask 350p for using the toilets, showers and electricity (or even one of these services!). Good and safe location.

Report Check-In

Upscale hotel which allows truck campers on their lot. They had us park in a side alley and hooked us to electricity. No water hookup but there is running water, clean restrooms and showers. Secure. Paid 350 pesos. Close to everything you will want to visit. Plenty of federal police parked a stone throw away. There's a small store and a taqueria close by. Very fast wifi.

Report Check-In

Great spot to park and camp. $100 pesos per night. Feels very safe with the police watching the property. Right by the gondola to the other side of the mountain. Also easy to walk the stairs to downtown.

Report Check-In

Nice option very close to the magical down town (night time), 350 pesos per night, nice toilets, safe 'cause full of federal police on site. It's just parking lot though. Beautiful *Zacatecas*

Report Check-In

We paid 100 pesos, the told us we are not a car, we are a camion (6meter long and 3meters high)nice view and fast wifi in the car.for a deposit of 300pesos the give you a key for hot showers and toilets.a lot of police was on the place

Report Check-In

Unable to pay the M$35 even though we are just in a Land Rover defender! Had to pay M$100 but very central location, showers and restroom (had to pay M$300 deposit for the key though...) right next to the teleferico and wifi was good but not great.

Report Check-In

35 MXN just for overnight parking in pick up camper. incl. restrooms
perfect and super safe location.

Report Check-In

Our stay was great, we paid 35 pesos per night to park a small van. That's the normal parking fee if you don't need water and electricity hook ups, which is a great deal!! we could use toilets (great hot water) + wifi.

Report Check-In

Pro: very close to the city center, quiet, beautiful view over the city, electricity available. Cons: expensive, dirty restrooms, non-reliable internet.

Report Check-In

EXPENSIVE but... close to downtown, close to the "mina el eden" (a must!) and the "teleferico to la Bufa". Beautiful view of a part of Zacatecas. Clean bathrooms with hot shower, electricity and wifi on the parkingplace.
