We arrived here to try a different option to the police station in antigua and the nice attendant told us they no longer allow camping. this was during the Semana Santa celebrations so I am not sure if it's just for that time or forever. the police station is awesome and free so we went there.
Report Check-InGreat spot. The first time we came here, we arrived after 5pm and although the gate was open, the guards said we could not enter as we had to have paid for camping prior to 4 pm. The entire park was choc full of people during the day on the Sunday before Christmas, really fun family party atmosphere. Much quieter during the week and at night, very peaceful. 60q.
Report Check-InWe liked this campground because its so quiet and you have lots of room to park your camper. There are some Palapas with a table and benches and the toilets are clean. We payed 60Q for 2 and stayed until 11.am. Then the guard told us that you normally have to leave by 9am. We didn;t have to pay an extra-fee. The next day, we tried to come back after spending the evening in Antigua but when we arrived at 10p.m., we were standing in front of locked gates and nobody was there. I'd recommend to go there earlier!
Report Check-InPlenty of space to park your van or sleep in a tent. Water is turned off by night, take your shower by day. Admission fee was 70 quetzales for two. Be aware that you pay the day admission too if you stay after 8am. Administration doesnt open before, you have to stay until 8am. Better to reach with the road from Antigua - the one heading into the city does not pass the park. Very nice people!

Report Check-InThe park is located about 10 km outside of Antigua on the road to Guatemala City. It's huge and you can choose any site. Many toilet buildings in the park.
