Latest Check-Ins

this place is permanently closed for camping, they arrange activities but don't allow camping any more

Report Check-In

I tried to just eat at the restaurant and they were asking for 35 peso entry fee per person just to go to the restaurant. No thanks. Moved on. Honestly want to mention the other overlander spot, which is epic (check the pictures!). By the Parc, camping is so cheap, only cost us 130 pesos first night and 70 pesos the second night ! If you’re an RV, ask if they can have you.

Report Check-In

Arrived late, parked my high top Sprinter along brick wall across from paid parking lot. Quiet and safe.

Report Check-In

There's a big car park directly opposite (other side of the road) where I stayed the night for free and very peacefully. Overlooked by houses on all sides and no facilities - but free.. (Forgot to mark it when I was there)

Report Check-In

The access to the parking is now restricted to foot traffic only ($25 per person), so not a camping option anymore. We camped at "Ecotouristico Sundial" at the very beginning of the street (right side where they rent tubes and stuff). Nice place with toilet and basic cold shower. $100 pesos per night.

Report Check-In

We slept at the parking as it s not allowed to sleep on green grass
But it was quiet and good
We have been in the other iOverlander place but we meet friendly young guys ,who offered us some beers and told us that it can be unsafe to sleep here due to some bad guys
As locals told us that it was not safe we left the place
So good place and cheap
100 pesos

Report Check-In

Camping on the parking lot from the restaurant Sundial. Unfortunately you’re not allowed to drive down to the river and camp on the grassy area anymore.
Still a nice spot with beautiful swimming. Quiet at night (except Saturdays so we heard).
The price of 100 Pesos per car includes the use of the (basic) flush toilet & cold shower as well as the use of the (slow) internet. Friendly owner.

Really nice campsite, 100 pesos for 2 people in a motorhome.
A couple of palapas which can be used, one of them has electric which we could plug into our RV. Water also available.
Toilets and showers (cold) as well as wifi at the restaurant and nearby.
Area is lovely, water is turquoise and very nice to swim in - waterfall is about 300 metres from here. You can either swim there or take one of the boat trips offered.
Nice owners, great micheladas and good shrimp dishes at the restaurant!
