Beautiful place but weird situation! Kids were not friendly. Yelled at us. Hit the car. Parents and guy at the entrance laughed about it. In the afternoon we wanted to go again but a man stopped us and said, it’s closed. He said there are robberies going on and checked us if we had money, mobile phones or cameras. When we arrived at the waterfalls, a young man was sitting on a rock and kept staring at us. Then he whistled something to other guys who hide in the bushes. We felt very uncomfortable and left as we were alone.

Real gem! This waterfall of hot water (~40°C) is incredible! I highly recommend, there are not many places like this on our beautiful planet. At the top of the waterfall there are small pools with water at around 50°C. We paid 20Q for adults, 15Q for our 11 year old but the 8 year old didn't pay and 10Q for parking. The children begging for sweets, quetzals and pencils are still there, it's sad, it's the first time I've seen this in Guatemala.

nice thermal waterfall, rock pool is cool but water coming off of waterfall is very hot! very cool and unusual, paid 10 q for parking and 20 q for ticket, bring correct change or close to correct change as man has minimal change, low hanging trees so had to park a little further away but still only about a 10 minute walk, came on weekday and had one child vendor with coconut drink and 3 children asking for quetzals, a few people to share the falls with but not too many, there is some mud you can put on your face that's good for your skin cost 20 q

Came here with my family and dog to enjoy the hot waterfall. The waterfall is very hot as others have mentioned and the river is mostly hot but has some areas where it is cooler. There were begging kids near the entrance and when we returned to our vehicle we noticed they drew in the dust on our truck windows, just smilie faces and hearts, but just a heads up.

Wow, unique special place! We were there on a Thursday afternoon and no kids or selling people bothered us. We had it to ourselves for awhile! Really happy we decided to make the day trip here!
Paid 20pp entry and 20 for day parking.

on a mangé au resto a l'entrée, poison grillé pour 190 q pour 3 personnes avec boisson, beau poisson et belle assiette. l'accès à la cascade 15q.le Dimanche, il y a beaucoup de locaux, ambiance familiale.

Awesome place! If you like hot springs you will love the hot waterfalls. The 40 Q camping fee per person already include the 15 Q entry fee per person.
There are toilets and spotty Tigo reception.

This waterfall felt like I was in a different world. so pretty. Especially early in the morning when the sun is just rising. We paid 40q total for 2 people to enter. We also slept in the parking area and left before 9 the next morning. Nobody asked for extra money for camping when we left.

Worth a day or half day trip if you are in the area.

Francisco guards your stuff at the water fall. Please do not give any money or anything else to the begging kids. Don't show them that you van finance live with begging.

where to start! when we arrived you there was a bunch of kids begging for money. when i reached out to give them some mints the twisted my fingers as they were snatching it outta my hands. and the ones who didnt get any of the candy followed us up the road to parking lot and demanded we give them something, one little girl was bold enough to reach for a pen and stating to give her that. The old man who looks like he runs the place wouldnt even let us get out of the car before he was asking for his 40Q. 15q pp and 10q to park. then to top of this horrible expierence while we were at the waterfalls a young teenage boy started to grope me in the cave and tried to kiss me. i got outta there in a fine hurry. i told my husband and he went to go talk to the kid an he swam an hid in a cave. when we told the old man about this incident he shook his head and walked away. Overall this was a horrible expierence. I dont recommend it. the kids in this area make you feel really uncomfortable. also there are no baños except at the resturaunt and they wanted 5Q

lots of problems on the road from Rio dulce, got here then could not leave as trucks blocked the road. Apparently this is 3 times a week for several hours. Place is ok but not much to recommend in all honesty. 80q for truck camper & 2 people

We stayed for three nights. Price is 40 Q pp per night included the termal waterfall. Price is negotiable.

Los ñinos que venden y piden dinero son muy curiosos e insistentes. Nosotros les regalamos algunas cosas, ellos no tienen nada. Es difícil hacerles entender que se alejen pero simplemente son niños aburridos.
La cascada es hermosa y vale 100% la pena.
Terminamos pagando 20Q por noche por persona porque le dijimos que solo iríamos un día a la cascada.
Los baños y las duchas están normal.

Definitely a unique and cool place. We made the mistake of coming on a Saturday so it was crowded with a tour bus. Also about 15 kids begging persistently when we pulled in, jumping on the van and all sorts made us feel uncomfortable - maybe it's less bad on weekdays? But we didn't feel too good leaving the van there so as a result didn't stay to long. Pools themselves are super unique though!

We loved it! We were charged 15q p/p and 10q to park - not sure if it was legit fees but no one bothered us after that. Definitely worth it! If you climb up over the falls and walk straight back following the path you can get to a cave where you can pull mud out and cover yourself in it. You can also jump off the waterfall - it's deep enough & small caves to swim in - loved it! One local said to be careful of your stuff if the caretaker isn't there as he had his backpack riffled through and things taken by little boys in the area (he thinks.)

excellent. we'll worth a stop here. Q15pp to enter and Q10 for the car (day parking price, not overnight) beautiful swimming in cool pools with hot waterfalls. 5 mins walk from the carpark/camping area to the pools.

This place was great, we went early in the morning thinking a "hot spring" would be too hot for any other part of the day. The only hot part is the waterfall, the rest of the water is a cool temp. It was the perfect combination of hot and cold and a great way to start the day, we were the only two people there.

nice place to have a swim.
however what a pity to see small children (no more than 6 o 7) begging for money o pen on the parking lot.

this is a restaurant but looks like not open on the weeks. we parked with our camper here for 25q per person and went to the hot spring about 10 minutes walk. very quiet.. some curious kids went to see us but leave us alone after few minutes.
toilet, cold shower.

I love so much this place that I needed to create it us a tourist attraction not just a camping place. Great hot spring waterfall in a nice clear river. Very unique. They charged 15q pp and 10 for parqueo. Don't miss it
