Description

Really long cascading Waterfalls...beautiful!

It’s P25 to get in and additional 100 per vehicule if you want to stay overnight.

You can park on a slight decline right next to the most beautiful spot: a grassy patch with sun and shade and BBQ Picnic tables next to a cool clear stream with natural pools everywhere!

Am sure you can stay overnight...I was Aline at 2pm :)

had to pay 25 MXN pp for entrance and 100 MXN for the car to sleep here. great temperatures coming from Agua Azul. 5MXN for 2hr internet which worked on the lower spot.

Beautiful and quiet place but…the entry is 25pp then if you want to stay overnight it’s additional 100. I said it’s too much because there is no facilities(no guard at night, no shower, no wifi) at all and the river belongs to everybody. Finally they leave us the wc opened for the night (no paper of course). Paid only 50 instead of 100.
The good thing that the water from the black water tank is drinkable.

Perfect overnight stop. Definitely big Rig friendly. Toilets and water available . Closes at about 6pm so you are on your own. Beautiful surroundings. Park within a few meters of the water and the cascades . lots of space and parking is on hard standing

Very nice cascades. We camped overnight with one other traveler for $100, swimming included. You can park down by the waterfalls but the incline is too big to find a lever spot. Or you can park above (straight up from the entrance) where it’s level and next to the neighbors. They have a dog and roosters (so they wake you from time to time) but overall very quiet and safe. Very friendly people !! The 199 from palenque to San cristobal is long and lots of topes so we didn’t make it all the way.. there are a couple of little stores.. bbq and tables and benches..

Wow!! One of our best hit and spot in todo Mexico! Wonderful experience with this great, smiling, welcoming indigenous community!!
A heaven's place so calm, peaceful, in the middle of nature: feels so refreshing also with pozas y cascadas to swim in even though it is cold ;-) Our kids played with the jovens from the community.
Such a good rest even for lunch after the busy and crowded agua azul or misol ha! Here it is the opposite: quiet, very few people at least whrn we got there.
Plenty of space to park on a flat stoned surface. we paid 100pesos for 1 night including the entrance fees and use of toilets. they sell you internet fichas by the hour 10pesos. Some veggies and fruits too = paradise, we could have stayed for weeks...
Bamiche' (Adios in tzeltzal!)

Indigenous community and a waterfall that you can park just at the side.
I sleep here three days. So, so, so calm. Just the sound of the absolute transparent water running down the cascade.
They charge 20$ p.p. per day and wanted more 100$ per night, but was very very negotiable.
How is your Tseltal?
