Honduras
You can camp in front of a hotel, a few feet from the water. There's a shower and a toilet. Everything is very basic. 100 per night, per vehicle.
The owners can arrange a boat ride to Palacio or wherever you want to go. We paid 500 for a 1-2 hour ride.
This small town is one of the parts of Honduras where only few tourists go.
The road to Batalla is dirt/mud and sand. You should have a 4wd high clearance to get here. Please ask the locals in Bonito Oriental if it's safe at the moment before you go. We drove it in 2 days, about 9h in total but it depends on the road conditions. At the moment the upper road at the beach is closed and you need to drive inland. There are a few junctions on the way. If you like to have the gpx-track please send us an email through Facebook.
