Nice place, we did see flamingo's from far away. can't swim here though, there's alot of realy soft soil. be aware to stay on the hard sand. We tried getting closer to the water but got stuck for a while with our 4x4.

Report Check-In

nice place but we decided to stay somewhere else in the beach further away from the road.
the water feels soggy but nice the feet

Report Check-In

excellent birding here mid morning - flamingos, white and brown pelicans, stilts, reddish egret, herons, terns, a woodstork, and some songbirds. no biting bugs.

camped just east of here because the ground is a bit mushy for our Ford Transit but with a suitable vehicle seems like a good spot except for road noise.

What a beautiful wild spot!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was very hot during the day, but the view out on these rosy lagoons with the flamingos makes you forget about the temperature.
And big plus: no mosquitoes 🦟!

Telcel: 4G reception

stayed here after checking other places, more space, lots of birds including flamingos, bit rough dropping off the highway but fine after. Stayed with F-350 truck camper

Report Check-In

We saw flamingos and a crocodile. Beautiful moon- and sunrise.
4G with telcel.

Some garbage. Little noise from the road.

Report Check-In

During the day the place gets considarable foot traffic from random visitors and even some tourist minivans stop there. But I expect at night it will be quiet.

We have seen a lot of birds in the flats, including flamingos. We have also seen a crocodile in one of the old salt pools. Smaller size, but still a crocodile.

* Higher clearance preferable, 4x4 not necessary.
* 2 bars on Telcel.
* No services.

It was still before lunch when we visited the place for approximately 1 hour to walk around the flats. After that we have continued. We would most likely opted to stay overnight there, if we would come later.

Report Check-In

Nice place to have a look at the flamingos. We didn’t stay here, though.
