Description
After looking up most of the places on this stretch, this place is definitely the best for us. Pretty close to the white sand beach and far enough away from the road. The view to the sea is not blocked off by sand dunes and no private houses around like most of the other places on this side of Montevideo. Turn off to this place is from green post number 19. At day time 5-6 other cars but nobody at night time. There is small fish market at the entrance road. Montevideo centre is 20min away.

Great place to spent the night. Being the high season holiday many people visit during the day. But quiet in the evening and at night. No traffic sounds. at the entrance there there are (pop-up) restaurants and strong lights. There are also security camera’s. There are two free toilet cabin’s.

Still a good place to sleep, not a sound, cars begin to arrive at 7h30/8 so a peaceful night.

beautiful spot next to the beach and close to several places to buy food. we could also do fire in the sand with care and responsability. Families and fishermen around. felt safe and we enjoy several days without problem.
hermoso lugar junto a la playa. pudimos incluso hacer fuego en la arena con los cuidados y responsabilidad necesarios. ambiente familiar y de pescadores. nos quedamos varios dias. se sintio seguro. la pasamos muy bien. varias tiendas cercas.
