Description

Very quiet place nearby laguna. One-time park entry fee 7500 pesos per (foreign) person. Campsite (shelter, table, BBQ, 3 side walled tent pitching area (2,5 by 2,5 meters)) costs 12000 pesos each night, or 5000 for just a shelter with a table and a fire pit on the ground. Or for free of you just stay on the field.
wifi at the park entrance

Closes (for daytime users) at 19:00. Arrive before that time.

There is wifi at the park entrance now. That is about 500 m from the campsite.

Nice and quiet. if you are with a small camper, and you do not need a fire pit and shelter, you may camp on the grassy field and you do not have to pay the camping fee. The park entrance is now 7500 pesos pp. Big rigs (camiones y buses) not allowed to cross the small bridge. Don't know if they can camp before the bridge.

Report Check-In

12,000 for 2 people in a camper including entry. Nice walk, camping area we were given was nothing special as all the shelters were full. Didn’t see much wildlife other than birds.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night with motorhome. Price is 12.000 CLP and we slept on a big grass area. We had a calm night. On day there are some nice hike tracks around the lake through wild nature.

Report Check-In

The parque/gate is closed in Mondays. No way to enter!

Report Check-In

Nice Conaf campground. Details are still correct. You can pay extra for a dedicated spot with bbq and wind shelter. Toilets were clean, we saw the shower, but it was not clean at all. Not sure if it is still in use. In the previous comments something was mentioned about a generator, we did not hear a generator at all.

The nature is awesome here, big lake, a lot of trees. Around 19.00 the gate of the parks closes and all the day tourists leave. We had the place to ourselves, so beautiful. Really nice park rangers. Can recommend this place!

Report Check-In

Nice and diffrent camp spots.
Quiet, no Generator hearing. You can watch different animals etc.
Bathroom ok and clean. Was suprised that the showers have only "hot" water in the morning from 09.30 till 11.00
Price per person: $ 5000 pesos

Report Check-In

Really good place. But nearby generator (24/7 For Punta Arenas water supply) ruins the quiet locale!
All other details accurate.

As described, extranjero prices now 4000pppn but if you cook and sleep in your camper, the 12k additional fee is not required. Opening hours now 8.30-19.00 and the gate (approx 1.5km before the lake itself) is locked outside of those hours.

Report Check-In

Because the weather was pretty bad, we opted for a shelter with BBQ (total of 20000 pesos for the first night). Our Land Cruiser with roof tent fitted into sitio 5, which offers very good wind protection.

Bathrooms are not clean, (cold!) showers not available until 9:30 the next morning, and then only till 11:00. Tap water has a yellowish hue - we did not even make tea with it.

We could not find a garbage disposal, we did find lots of signs telling us to take our garbage back.

Another example of a once beautiful but poorly managed CONAF campground.

Report Check-In

Opening hours now 8:30 until 19:00. We arrived 20:20 - too late to get in. Parked our Land Cruiser in between the two gates just before the last bend in the road.

Report Check-In

Very good place to spend a night. We spend a Saturday and Sunday here and seems to be a place for family spend the weekend. Nice walk trough the Bush’s ver friendly staff. We saw puma footprints. Definitely nice place to see.

Report Check-In

Nice spot directly on the Laguna. We paid 8000 CLP (2 persons & a campervan), clean toilets. When you would like to make a fire, you have to pay 12000 CLP for a campsite with fireplace and shelter. There are some nice walking trails on the Laguna. From Ruta 9 to the Laguna there is a good gravel road.

Report Check-In

Nice, peaceful area next to the lake. We had the park to ourselves and asked the ranger if we could stay overnight without using a sitio and he was happy for us to stay for free 'sin fuego' in our 4x4 as we have our own kitchen. Bathrooms were modern and clean.

Report Check-In

they changed prices. 4000chil. pesos per person. as we have a camper we had not to pay 12.000pesos for camping. we were there alone for 3nights. if you want camping there are parillas, roofed tent places, windprotection, very clean baños and water with chlorine, showers at special times. // limited fishing season// nice easy interpretive walks along the lake. // the road
is muddy but well kept even after rain

Report Check-In

Open from 8.30 to 20.30 hrs. Be sure to arrive before 20.30 hrs. They close the gate with a lock and you can not go in or out.

Very quiet place nearby laguna. Park entry 1500 pesos per person

Report Check-In

Very campsite right on the lake. Clean toilets. Small trail.

Since we did not need shelter with the RV, we did not have to pay the extra fee for the site (12,000 chil. Pesos), only the parking fee of 1,500 pesos / person.
