Description

Small Campground close to Okefenokee Main Entrance with tent sites ($10) and RV sites ($20) shaded from big live oak trees. Quietness disturbed by some trains. We stayed for 4 nights. No one came to collect the camping fee and no one cares for the campground during our stay.

Love this place! The tent camping area is ideal for vans as well as tents. It’s a large open are (no designated spots) with picnic tables and fire rings. Plenty of shade from giant live oaks. Hot showers. Camp host came by to collect $10. Nice short walk to boat ramp and small beach.

Great place if you're visiting Okefenokee, which is just twenty minutes away. Tent sites are $10, collected by the host. Pretty well deserted in November. Washrooms are flush toilet/ wonderful hot showers and are nice and clean. Highly recommend!

Nice peaceful camp site. Open 24 hours and office staff and RV residents are super friendly. Camped in the tent area in our van along with one other group but had the place to ourselves. Bathroom and shower available along with a place to dump your trash. Nice large covered common area next to tent sites and one common fire pit in the middle. Highly recommend for a short stay!

Nice campground. Host is around and collecting fees. Prices are accurate as listed before. We asked if we could stay at a tent site in our van without hookups for the tent fee and he said it was fine. Beautiful trees, nice concrete picnic tables.

I guess the have a new camphost that actually collects the fees now. The last camphost apparently took out half the electrical when he left. still some big pretty sites with water, power and sewer. some sites with unconnected power. 20. for the full hookup. Very pretty and right next to the boat ramp for the St Mary's River. Only three other campers here now.
