Water about a meter deep across the road in March a couple weeks after the long rains started. We decided not to cross it in our Jeep Wrangler. We drove via Maralal up to Loiyangolani without a problem. We were trying to drive from there to Marsabit via Kalacha, but we turned around at this spot.

There was still 30 cm at the end of the dry season in September. Also a huge puddle just before was about 50 cm high at the deepest.
Funny enough in the dry, must be threatening in the wet.
When every other river was completely dry, we didn't expect much. But this river is different we discovered. The water was about 60cm deep. There would have been a detour, which we couldn't take because of narrow and overhanging palm trees. So we drove through, foto added. It had rained a couple of weeks ago.
Report Check-InOn the drive up from South Horr all river crossings were completely dry except for a few small puddles. (several had small bridges but they were dry) so we decided to drive up. There is no bridge, but water in one small area was ~8cm deep and totally crossable.
Report Check-InThere is a bridge now! so no problem during rain season any more
