FREE. Parked up in a dry river bed. Lovely drive (easy unpaved road) lots of wild animals. Can't go down to the beach (private property) at this point but very nice up here too.

We haven't slept there but we have driven the whole road. It must be stated clearly: it's 4x4 only. Washouts, dumps and muddy river beds - plenty of them. Rainy or not you need at least high clearance! With 4x4 car its nice to drive middle of nowhere :)
Report Check-InEasy unpaved road...my ass! After digging out our Van for 3 hours the road didn't get any better. I don't know why someone would drive here anyways there is nothing to see other than sand, ugly river beds, sheep and Mosquitos. Oh and you have to open and close gates a hundred times. In wet season you need a 4x4 for sure. Shit road!
Report Check-InWe needed to open a gate directly at the exit of RN3, so we don't know weather the road is private/closed?! Despite we entered as it was already late and we stayed just 500m after on a pull out. We had a quiet night, no car passed by. No wind protection. Slightly visible and few noise of the RN3. Ok for one night if you drive up or down RN3.
