Something not right?

Description

A traditional rondable compound with rooms and place to camp. A bit difficult to find, not far off the main road in western direction, but one has to meander in between houses, dumps and water channels, better ask in the town center. We stayed overnight with our Land Rover with roof tent and payed 4000 for the two of us. Friendly people, one of them spoke a bit of English. For showers, they brought water for us from the nearby hand-pumped well (they would even have heated it for us!) and pumpkin bowls to scoop the water. Inside the compound, they run a small shop with cold drinks etc. Very authentic and quiet at night.

Nice place to stay a night. Pretty basic: simple toilet, shower with a bucket, no wifi, but quiet and secure. A bit difficult to find, but maps.me does a good job of taking you (almost) there. Friendly French owner and locals. 4000 per night (2 ppl and a van).

Really nice place to stop for a night. Not originally designed for overlanders but very accommodating. Helps to speak French! Philipe is great company and the staff are very friendly. No WiFi but very good mobile signal with onatel. Heard here that the other campsite is closed.

Hard to find! Best to arrive before dark and look for the compound with the colourful gate.

Price for a room still 6000 cfa, very cold beer and tasty food, probably the best rice and sauce until now, huge portions!

Really nice place where you can feel local culture. Very nice people. 6000CFA for double room on the roof. Bucket shower and pit toilet (clean). Food and drinks available. A little bit difficult to find the right way, but just ask local people. Definetaly worth to stay.
