Still closed! We tried the path on the right but we did not managed to continue.

We managed to cross the shortcut shown in maps me as a trail parallel to the river in our 2WD fiat.

Still closed (road blocked with heaps of sand) and detour in place. I don't think it's open to 4x4 either, because the signage from Puerto Viejo says 'cerrado'.

As we were following the detour (coming from the north), we blazed past a handmade Puerto Viejo sign pointing into a dirt road. This may be the shortest way to the village, but I'm not sure about the condition of the road. We ended up following the main road, which is most likely faster anyhow.

Road is still closed. There is a detour to Puerto Viejo.

Still cut off. For 4wd probably doable (ruta cortada sign)

It's still closed, but it seems, as of some 4wds found their path. But a little further, there's a bridge to Porto Vejo.

Still not passable. Yo can get to the other side of the river only via the other bridge or C-318.
