MODERATOR NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals.
This is a really nice spot, in the middle of ruins from an old mine. The owners are really friendly and will let you camp for 250p per tent.
You can also just visit the ruins for 50p per person, REALLY worth it!
At night the sky is amazing and on 4 occasions you can get a lunar observation which consists in a wave-like pattern made in one of the jesuit buildings!! Can't stress how cool it is, lots of stuff to visit, nice people, plenty of room to camp by yourself in the ruins. BTW much better ruins than the ones in Mineral de Pozos.
Owner also talked about bringing campers to local indigenous events.

wow! Hacienda not Fort was PRIVATA No Pasar due to all the aggressive signages and all gates were locked to access mine, not really amazing. hotel prices to park overnight in a dusty carpark surrounded by barbed wire is not my thing
Report Check-InMagisch place! ruins of old fort in conquistadores times and then mines.. very historical place to visit! We spend a very quiet night by the ruins. We negotiated $300 pesos a night with a visit to the ruins included (normally 60 pesos pp). No amenities but friendly owner. Dirty dusty road from Mineral de Pozos.. safe and quiet!! They have food (gorditas) and you can try their mezcal..
