Description

There are many little Palapas and restaurants and families living along the beach. We just parked and asked a local if there was any place we could pitch a tent for a night. He led us to his place and let us camp free for a couple nights. It's about a 40 min drive from Mazatlan (or a five minute ferry). Great swimming. Town also boasts a pretty cool botanical garden.

We’re loving it!
Beautiful and safe and lots of great people and places to eat and drink via the palapas
Paying a “closed” restaurant to sleep on the beach in front of it.
