Description

Just 2 blocks from the beach we found this nice camping where you can stop both the vehicle and the tent. Young atmosphere has a small bar that is ideal for a drink and chat with other travelers staying there. At night it is very quiet and you can rest very well listening to the sea.
Only for tents and small campers

camping agréable et calme. cuisine, douche (froide) et sanitaires sur place
petit resto dans le camping.
non accessible aux grands véhicules, tout juste pour notre van de 3m.de haut

I liked the campsite, very wooded, very close to the beach and the center. simple but clean bathrooms. wifi with good signal.

Baños y ducha lamentables. De lo peor que vi en mi vida. No entienden qué servicios debe tener un camping. Una sola bacha para lavar platos o ropa que si están usando el lavarropas queda bloqueada. Un desastre total

Very Nice camping, with space for small RVs. Tito is very friendly, but the wi-fi does not work very well. the camping is quit and calm.

We checked 4 or 5 campgrounds in Mancora, and this one was the best. It has shade, it is clean (no rubbles everywhere like the others) and quiet, close to the center and the market. We can go surfing by foot. Outdoor cold shower but at this time of the year, cold water is welcomed.
Fast WiFi.
15 sol ppn

Average Camping, wanted 15s pppn but we got it for 10 pppn because we came based upon a recommendation by other overlanders who payed 10 and it was clear to them that we’d not stay for 15. Toilets don’t flush, shower drains very slowly leaving some soup to bathe your feet in, very basic kitchen, no fridge and I never received as many electrical shocks over such a short period of time when trying to charge my phone. Roosters wake u up at 5 which is nice if you wanna surf early.People generally nice though and the area in nice too. Left because we came for surfing and from all countries and spots we visited, Mancora definitely has the worst crowd and locals I’ve ever experienced. Had to pay 5s pppn for “late checkout” which to me seems illogical on a campground that was only halfway filled with no beds that were occupied and no bedsheets that needed to be changed in the cleaning persons shift. Payed and will not come back. As I said, average, better to skip Máncora as a whole unless you need to stock up on surfboard supplies as they have a good surf shop.

Nice economical spot for a couple nights. Lots of other travellers around to socialize with. Average bathrooms and cold showers. We ended up moving to the free spot on the beach below the bridge and liked it much more.

Report Check-In

Tight entrance and will need to back out, no place to turn around. Lots of foot traffic walking right by your rig if not in a tent. Decent location to town and beach. Better for the younger crowd to socialize and surf. We moved down the road to punta ballenas and enjoyed that much more.

In May (low season) 10s pp and very few people. Has 1 or 2 space for a campervan (no big rigs) and more space for 4x4 (need to drive in the sand for access). Normal camping with kitchen and OK bathroom. 50m from main beach (good for surf and kitesurf) and close to city centre. Very nice atmosphere and staff!

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Yes the bathrooms are a little dirty sometimes and the water isn't always hot but it's camping, I was just happy to have access to the facilities. There is plenty of space, great kitchen, hammocks and 50m from beach. Only 10 soles a night. Recommend for a mostly quiet (except weekend nights from music next door) friendly and enjoyable stay

Report Check-In

No recomendable. Too much noise at night. Too many people in an small place. Really dirty bath. We just stayed one night and we runned away.

Report Check-In

No recomendable. No hot water. Small place to put the car. Dirty kitchen and toilet. But 10 s/ per person per night.
