this place is fantastic. Wayne and his wife Shanti were so hospitable, exactly what I needed after a few hard days riding my bicycle. definitely recommend. they have cold beer and burgers for dinner. call ahead if you can because since covid they haven't been as busy. I arrived without calling and it was fine but recommend letting them know you will arrive in advance. seriously lovely people and I wish I stayed longer.

This place is a bar first. Super friendly hosts, good burger, good wifi.

Camping is so-so. There was dog poo on the lawn everywhere so had to be careful where to walk. (Next day most was cleaned). No communal kitchen or stove. Only outdoor sink was clogged. Bar blasting loud music weekend nights.

Awesome little spot next to N7. They allowed me to camp with my Landcruiser next to the pool. Campsites for vehicles are currently under construction and will be probably finished next month.

Great small bar with tasty burgers. Two pools (the indoor is heated!). Worth the visit!

As below, we arrived on bicycles and Wayne and his team looked after us really well. Great food, beers and camping set up. R120 pppn with our own tent and there are also permanent tents and cabins available.

great place. Wayne and his crew are amazing and very friendly. we had such a fun time, with too many beers :-) there's a nice heated pool just next to the bar and a garden pool as well. nice n clean ablutions with powerful showers. darts and pool table available. amazing burgers.

The owner Wayne has created something truly amazing here. We arrived on bicycles and he had many places to camp. There’s a pool next to the bar area, nice shower and bathroom facilities, shaded picnic areas with hammocks, cold drinks and a great menu of food options including burger and pizza. Owner is super friendly and accommodating to make you feel at home. 110 per person to camp with our own tent - they also have tents on the property you could stay in.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay for more than one day (not only for bikers). You have everything here: beautiful camping, or tent to rent, perfect bar and food, super nice host, pool, wifi, hammocks to relax... and is absolutely affordable: I paid 100R pp & night (stayed 2 nights).

A little gem along the N7 and a must stop. We were welcomed like friends by Wayne and his wife. The bar, the hot tub, facilities and the grassy campsite makes it complete. Also great bar personnel, which is nice to speak with as well as the locals visiting for a sundowner and evening drink. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the braai. They make also great pizzas.

Wayne is extraordinary hospitable and always ready for a chat. He is reconstructing his camp with a lot of love and desire!
As mentioned before very comfortable and affordable "Safari tents" or Camping on the loan.
Showers are very hot and with good pressure. ;-)

A must stop! Wayne is a great host and he just does everything to make you feel comfortable! They have tents to rent, a beautiful lawn to pitch your own, and there is also space for Cars! There is a really nice, big hottub and a cosy atmosphere! Def. stay here!

Great place to be with a bar, hot swimming pool and lovely people. Camp site on lawn and you get fast Wifi for free. You can get food or cook for yourself. Ablutions are excellent - one of the best showers we had in the last months in Africa.
Price for camping Zar 100 pppn. If you are to lazy to put up your tent, you can sleep in one of their tents for 200 pppn. We really enjoyed our stay on this place. It is a refreshing pearl on your way to/from Namibia.

Really great place! Beautiful lawn, swimming pool, good ablutions, honesty bar. Very friendly and hospitable owner and his wife. Had a great time here and will be definitely back! R100 pppn.

Awesome spot just off the N7 on a working fruit farm. Wayne the host is a lovely guy who will really look after you. Felt incredibly welcome and spoilt. Knows some good tracks in the area if you want to take the road less travelled.
