This is a nice and cosy place for rooftent/tent travelers or you can even rent a beautiful complete set up dome!
Hot shower, clean toilets.
Beautiful view of the volcano and lake. On the other side of the road is a nice restaurant and even in walking distance there are a few nice restaurants.
Some great hiking in the back at the spa essence!

Great spot, beautiful clear view of volcano, hot water, Wi-Fi, power near bathroom, dog friendly, clean with lots of flat level ground and grass.

Once a horse paddock and gorgeous stone stables, now a camping site in a lovely setting with great volcano views (when clear!), hot shower, wifi, sink, and two “glamping” dome tents that I’m told are nearly ready for reservations. Very nice place to stay - some improvement work still happening with facilities so I’m sure will be even better soon! Very welcoming hosts also.

The campsite has been taken over by a Dutch woman named Wendy. You can send a whatsup msg to +297 592 9535 to reach her and she responds straight away. When you drive up you see restaurant Terraza del arenal. The camping is right across from it. The bathroom was super nice and clean. No warm water yet but coming very soon. Wifi works fantastically even at the restaurant across the road (which is also recommended by the way).

this place is different from Essence Arenal!
it's an old staples property that can be "rented" for the night from Majestic properties down the hill. We didn't stay as we were already up the hill, but it looked super nice with great views on vulcano arenal. not sure about facilities, would need to ask at Majestics, but would probably turn out cheaper than Essence Arenal next door (which is awesome also btw).

The current name of this property is Pura Vista Glamping and is a beautiful park with cabins, tents and room for rigs to camp. The price per night is $18.- in total for two people. This includes many facilities such as hot showers, toilet, WiFi, jacuzzi, pool and access to the ‘Essence Arenal park’ and farm. The park is beautiful and there is so much life! Monkeys and Toucans are easy to spot. We had a lovely 3 course dinner at the restaurant for just $13.- per person. this place is a great location to stay one or more nights if you visit the area.

This campground is a start up. It’s a flat area with gate. It’s near by the butterfly conservatory and the Arenal Ecozoo. Soon there is installed electricity, water, WiFi and so on. Call Augustin +50683449902 or: [email protected]
