Prices increased again. 3000 for parking, 7500 for extranjeros. The camino de los enamorados gives some nice views from farther away (with a few less tourists)

What a tourist nap. Very disappointing. Parking is 2.000 Pesos, entrance 7.000 Pesos pp for foreigners. The platforms don't offer good views in combination with the volcano 🌋. Very crowded though... Don't go there! Views of volcano Osorno are way better at the cable car station (for free!)

Went here on a friday afternoon and the place was extremely crowded. Good to know: there are now tickets needed to hike in the NP. If you like to do this, just drive to the CONAF registration office nearby. If you want to visit the Petrohue waterfalls this is the place to be. We were told to buy online tickets via the CONAF and paid 9 dollars per ticket. When we arrived we were told this was not necessary at all. You can also buy the tickets at the entrance for 6400 pesos. We felt a bit robbed, because of this. The only good thing: we got to skip the enormous line. The waterfalls are beautiful but way to touristic. We literally had to wait at each viewpoint to have a look. It toon away all the magic. So, we would definitely recommend to skip this one.

We happened to pass by out of the opening hours (9-19h) and tried to go anyway. It was not possible, to start the trail you need to cross a bridge which is closed by a big fence (added a picture).

Soooo it is super touristic indeed. No hike, just an easy stroll. Nonetheless you have a nice view on the volcano and the water is beautiful.
That being said I agree the price is totally inadequate and you will see nicer places down the road

we really like it!
it's now 6000 pesos per head, or 3000 pesos if you are Chilean. we have a RUT so they accept to let us in for 3000.
The day was really sunny, the waterfalls with the 2 volcans behind are stunning. You should definitely start by the 2 others little trails and finish by the waterfalls. They have toilets for free in the park. You can also find tap water on the parking (in the right if you are going from Puerto Varas), near to the pancard "reservated for Conaf"

Not worth the money! this is a tourist trap.

This is just NOT worth the 4000 pesos per person! It a overrated place. If you are coming from Patagonia, you've seen places waay more beautiful than this. If you are heading to MNPatagonia, don't waste your time here, there are much better waterfalls down the road and even for free.

Thought it was very nice, and the loop trail quite beautiful with many scenic spots. Do come early to miss the crowd! Could possibly park along the road further down to save on the $1,000 parking fee. The water was powerful when we were there. Really enjoyed it, plus the views of volcano Osorno along with the rushing water.

Report Check-In

Dur to the low water level of the Rio Petrohué, the waterfalls were rather disappointing in summer. Maybe they are more impressive in spring, when there is more water due to the melting of the snow in the mountains. But no matter in what season, the bridges and walkways towards the waterfalls do not really fit in the landscape ... And besides this viewpoints, the park has nothing more to offer.

A bit disappointed by this entertainment, which is very touristic. Of course it is beautiful but it is easy to find as nice and more quiet. The walk is quite fast : 45 min maximum.
We tried not to pay the entrance but someone was controlling so we had to pay. However, if you have a RUT number (even temporary RUT) it's 2000 $ / pers. Don't forget to show it. :)
And if you need wifi, you can have it on the cafe inside (psw : 11771036)
