we could sleep here in front of the house, 10 pP, startest at 6 am, not many birds seen. Nice trails, pure nature. Bad WiFi.

Couldn't stay here because they had guests in their hotel, so than the toilet & shower are not available. In the end it didn't matter, the wildcampspot in town next to the rio is nice & safe.

The two sisters/owners let us stay although we didn't pull into the garden area because the lawn is saturated. We are parked parallel in front of yellow guest house and have been using the bathroom and showers in it. $10/pp night unless you stay for four+ nights which we have and then it's only $8/pp night. Staff ran electric cords to camper for us.
Recommend when driving in, turn left on Vicente Aguirre St as soon as you pass the central park and then right at end of block. Otherwise you'll miss the three signs directing you to the driveway.
Quiet except for frog symphony at night.

Beautiful place, but they did not allow us to stay. First they told that the house containing the ablutions for campers was rented, later that the lawn was too wet because of the rains. We paid USD 6 per person for the trail walks (reserve half a day to do them all). The variety of plants was stunning, but we saw few animals.

All that is said before is still true. A wonderful place to relax. They asked for 10 USD p.P. but could talk them down to 8 USD p.P. We found this to be a fair price, considering the beautiful bird trails on the huge property. Lots of Hummingbirds, Tucans, Falcons and more.

Very nice place. We made a bird watching tour with guide Julia. Start at 6 a.m., 4 hours, 50 US$. Very impressive.

The driveway is not very small. Maybe it wasn't pruned well for the last visitor. But totally fine now. Really nice and helpful owners and beautiful grounds. The gate to property is actually right in town then it's a long private driveway into the forest. Amazing to have this 400 acre property abutting town.

very nice place in the middle of the rainforest. many walkingtreks,lots of birds. the driveway to the areal is very smal, be prepared for some scratches, bat its worth to do it. very friendly owners. they have acceptable wifi and very hot showers. a bit to expensiv.

Nice quite place in a wonderful garden, center in walking distance, nature trails& nature pool. Very clean shower, water, electricity,common room,WiFi, 8$p.P

Parking lot of the Yellow House in the beautiful developed garden with blossomed flowers . Hot shower, clean toilet. (Slow) Free WIFI. For additional $ 4 / person / day you can hike the trails of the area and you can stroll through the cloud forest for hours and do bird watching (highly recommended).

There is very good, homemade bread at Barbara's Restaurant-Cafe Oasis (S 78.77465 0.05398 W). Excellent swiss style cheese at Pueblo Nuevo Queso 3 km before the turn to Mindo (S 78.78948 0.01709 W).
