Latest Check-Ins

Great campground, sites more generously spaced than our previous night at Big Meadows. Got site when we arrived. Good to note that this campground closes reservations for sites 48 hours prior to arrival date, so even though it may appear there is no availability, good chance there really is availability. A loop runs the perimeter. F loop is generator free.

great experience! we rolled in late Thursday night and found a first come first serve spot to sleep in. The majority of sights are FF. really no bad spots but A 62,64, 66 have a view of the horizon thru trees. Staff friendly. Showers $2.50 for 5 minutes but they actually ran for about 7 😉 enjoyed talking to several AT hikers who were passing thru. Even over 4th of July the park was not full!

Great campground with tons of walk in spots, it’s surrounded by the AT and has very easy access to many different hikes. Cell service is spotty at the middle sites but I’m able to get 1-2 bars with Verizon on the edge sites. $30/night

There were many first come sites still available here when we arrived around 7pm. Nice campground. The AT traverses around the campground and makes for a great loop that's easy to access from all sites. Store is on site. The park has a small gas station along Skyline Dr further to the north.

Peaceful established campground. $15 a night with access to pay showers, camp store, and laundry. Campground comes with a dishwashing sink, drinking water, and flush toilets.

Showers are 7 quarters for 5 minutes.
Campground is nice with sunny sites but also shaded sites.
We got LTE from T-Mobile, but you won’t receive it at every spot. So check before taking a site.

Solid campground with lots of sites. Showers are coin operated and at the campstore, just outside the site. Bathrooms are heated too.

Best family campground on the Skyline Drive. It's $30 to enter the Skyline Drive and $15 per night to camp. Lots of hiking options right from the camp or a short drive to the trail head. Can get crowded in the summer. Clean facilities with optional pay shower. Camp store on premises.
