Campsite inside the National Park. Great campsite with nice and very clean ablutions. Zebra, impala and other game often visit the campsite. Campsite has a very nice restaurant and pool. As there are no big predators, you can go on a nice hike and walk between the animals. You can rent mountain bikes or go horseriding. Braai stands, electricity, tables and chairs, new ablution block is huge and outstanding with large area for dishwashing and laundry.

We loved it here. While the rest of the resort was busy, the campground was nice and quiet. Excellent facilities, with one of the best showers in a long time!

The walks around the park are awesome, and mountain biking (although not cheap) is also great. We stayed 3 nights.

We had decent SwaziMobile reception at the campground.

Awesome place!

Report Check-In

The campsite is great with a pretty good sunset view. Awesome birdlife in the mornings. There are quite a couple of sites to choose from – some are well shaded under tall trees, and others on grassy areas (full sun). All have nice braai stands, electricity plug-in points and water taps to fill up. The ablutions are clean and the wash-up area is well maintained. The walks are great as there are no predators on the reserve except for crocs. Our big rig got in easily and there was plenty to do and see (small educational museum, sunrise safari, mountain biking and a nice swimming pool area). The reserve is focused on tourism so some of the amenities and facilities are priced accordingly, but you can opt to stick to the free stuff like hikes, swimming etc. 😊 Would definitely recommend the sunrise safari. We felt the internet (if you needed to get some work done) was a bit pricey at R50 for 500mb – the connection was also unstable at the time of our stay. We would still however recommend checking it out if you needed a well-deserved break from the road. There are conservation fees (around R80 pp per night, which goes to a good cause) which does add to the cost of camping (R300 per night for two) and the scenery makes more sense when we read up on the history of the farm – tip: Ask reception if you can watch the “Jezebel” video to learn more.

The campsite is part of a bigger complex with many rooms/little houses. It's quite busy and touristy, but the campsite is nice and quiet. Nice and clean ablutions.
There are a little souvenir shop and a bar/restaurant (not really good). You can buy WiFi (50 for 500 Mb, for 2 days), but it only works at the reception and is very slow/not working.
Camping is 145 pppn for camping, 80 pppn park fee.
Walking through the park is very worthwhile!
Motorbikes are allowed to go to the camp, but have to take a shorter route and can't go further into the national park.

Report Check-In

Pleasant campsite in national reserve. We were the only campers, very quiet. Nice walks from camp, lots of game around. Spotless ablutions. Large flat sites with brais and trees all around. 150 rand pp per night plus 80 rand conservancy fee.

As described before, lovely spot for a night or two, spotless ablution, friendly resident animals. Due to the covid, we had the whole reserve for ourselves - a bliss. NOTE: Google shows wrong location, there’s a new tar road to the gate, you cannot enter through bookings office / Sondzela backpackers.

Report Check-In

Awesome Campsite, we can confirm all as described before. No park entrance fee if you have a wildcard.

Report Check-In

Place is indeed swarmed with European tourists. A few campsites, okay ablutions. We only stayed one night. Quite expensive for what you get, luckily we had the wildcard so we didn't have to pay the fees. No WiFi, you have to buyt it. It's slow and only working near reception.

Report Check-In

Camping price is now 135 rand/E pppn on top of the 60 rand/E pp for entry if you don’t have a wild card. Place is EXTREMELY TOURISTY. Feels like staying in a large zoo with European tourist groups in every direction..

Report Check-In

Everything as already written.
Price now 130 E for camping and 60 E entry/conservation fee.

Report Check-In

Awesome campsite with nice walks. Warthogs running around the camp and even warming themselves around the campfire with you! Nyalas in the camp are so friendly you can actually pet them (and notice how many ticks they have). At night impala sleep in the woods next to you. No hippos.

Huge clean ablution block with gas geysers, power at pitches, all with braii pit. Worth a couple of nights for sure.

Report Check-In

same as was described before by others, no grass

Report Check-In

Nice side with a lot of wildlife and friendly staff.
Restaurant is good but in the evening only buffet for 190R. Ask if you can have only the maindish for 120R.
Did the hippo trail in the morning. Was very beautifull and you can see a lot of animals. Even some crocodiles just 10m away. Sadly no hippos.

Lovely spot with impala, warthog and other wildlife around. Camp overlooks mountains with afternoon sun. Small campsite. Was pretty full when we stayed. August their busy month. Lots of activities in nature. Horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, birding, game drives. Restaurant overlooks pond. Watched crocodile finish off his/her dinner with goose watching. Heard unique Reilly family story preserving Swaziland’s wildlife. Great spot to spend a few days no matter where you come from.

Report Check-In

Easy access, cleanest ablution we‘ve seen in any National Park and exceptional hiking. We connected the hippo and summit trails - very well marked, just ask the guides

Report Check-In

One of my favourite spots in Africa. Beautiful scenery and hiking next to zebra herds and other antelopes make it very special. Campsite is great and the facilities are more than clean and spacious. The Restaurant serves great food with a nice atmosphere right by the lake. Park also offers mountainbiking and horseback riding. Stuff is very friendly and helpful.
Stayed here two weeks and enjoyed it a lot. I can also recommend the two other Big Game Parks. Prices are as described earlier.

You can use your wildcard now here! So you only pay for camping, R125 pppn.
We started the Hippo trail for hiking, but went back because there were a lot of ticks in de high grass this time of the year. We made a walk on the wider car routes what also was beautiful.

Mapsme leaded us through a wrong way, there must be a better road...ours was very small and behind houses, that was totaly dificult, but at last it works with our Unimog....Great Campsite with great view. Ablutions are fantastic, one of the best and cleanest i saw in the last 5 month ! Staff is very friendly. Wifi is ok, but a little expensive, 85 Rand for 75mb. the park costs 50 Rand pp and the Camp 115 pppn now. the Hippo-trail is very nice, easy to walk and shady. Many, many visitors, NOT only at the weekend ;-) . Incredible noisy during the day, but at night it 's quiet . we stayed 3 nights.

Report Check-In

Great campsite, despite the crowds. During the day a lot of noise from the day visitors (maybe only in weekends) but quiet at night. Ablutions look absolutely fantastic but oddly enough the men's showers either gave only hot water (showers on left side of the building) or cold water (right side of building). Restaurant served only an expensive and mediocre buffet when I visited. Free tea and coffee though. The many resident nyalas and warthogs are very nice. New price 115 r pppn, excluding park fees (still same price).

Report Check-In

Very good campsite. Zebra's, Nyala's and Warthogs walk on the campsite.Ablution block is cleaned more then one time a day.

Report Check-In

As already said. Excellent spot, we stayed 6 nights.

Report Check-In

Great to see all the young game wandering around the campsite! Perfect spot to camp for a few days.

Report Check-In

Really worth a visit! Prices as below still! Swimming pool back in use. This place does get busy over the weekends. Walking trails are fantastic, the hippo trail being the most interesting! Nice to be able to walk around with the animals there also!

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite at back of camp under large gumtrees with braai stands, electricity, tables and chairs, new ablution block is huge and outstanding with large area for dish washing and laundry, we had nyalas and warthogs in camp and exploring the reserve on foot is just lovely, restaurant and pool but the latter was out of order due to the severe drought, mountainbikes for hire, 105R pp (6,50€) + 40R pp (2,50€) coservation fee or wildcard

Report Check-In

Nice, new facilities; Mlilwane Park R40 pp, camping R105 pppn
