Latest Check-Ins
Dirt road, but pretty smooth, solid but sometimes narrow. If oncoming traffic is coming you might need to back up a little to a wide spot.
If you come in from hwy 11 you won’t cross the water. But the water, at least on my visit was shallow. Maybe 3-4 inches deep, with slow moving current. The bottom Is Rocky but smooth so no worries about getting stuck out bottoming out.
Otherwise a quiet night, listening to water flow. It’s very dark here until the moon comes up.
Report Check-InYou literally have to drive through TWO shallow creeks. I did it with my van, but I do not recommend. Water was just above my ankles. There is another way to get here, driving around and there is another street to take you there.
Report Check-InAble to get our forester with AWD and skid plates down to the campsite, but would not recommend this without something with a little more clearance and 4x4 or AWD. But, like others have said, you can park at the road and walk down. Beautiful site with the creek literally right next to it. Stayed one night and enjoyed it so much. Helton falls just up the road is pretty too. Would recommend having some sort of bathroom system if you stay here, it’s mot possible to follow LNT at this site. No service on at&t.
Report Check-InAmazing and beautiful place! We were there for 20 days with our camper parked in the road and the camp area was down of a little hill. The creek was right there. Just a little bit of reception for verizon. room for three trucks and a couple of tents. neighbors are friendly.

Report Check-InThis campsite was taken but we drove up to the trailhead parking area & were able to put up our rooftop tent for the night without any issues. It was nice to hear the falls! Little to no signal with Verizon.
