Good spot. Stayed 2 nights. it was busy with hunters as it was the weekend. It seems big enough to share although a few spots were closed due to tree fall risk. Definitely recommend the hotsprings if you need a shower. We spent the day there and they offer a pass out so you can come back at night. There was one generator on the whole time at one site, maybe a freezer or something.

Report Check-In

Followed the GPS coordinates and it lead us to a pull off just above the described spots--after the first curve of CR 50. In a van, we had a great night with our dog. The next morning we saw all the riverside spots, which are a turnoff just as you come off the road. You'll see a state sign (posted a pic). They were full so we were happy. We arrived late and left early. Saw another single riverside spot on another steeper side road further up CR 50.

Report Check-In

Only 1 open spot. Some noise from the nearby road, not bad though. First loop road closest to the river is closed. Space to turn around if you end up there.

Report Check-In

Showed up Friday afternoon. More than half the spaces empty. Porta potties and a small dumpster - very convenient.

The creek adds just enough white noise that we couldn’t hear the 15+ people who showed up at the next site over.

The roads are narrow dirt roads but our 35’ class A had no problems. It might be a problem if the ground was soft.

nice area, next to the river, night mostly quite, some car noise over Bridge, but loud are the long trains (no horn, but breaks), but still ok for a night

Report Check-In

Great location right next to Colorado river. Hardly any service. We had the first spot next to bridge. Trafic on bridge is not loud at night.

Report Check-In

Driving in, the First big sign says 14 day camping limit. Each individual site has a small sign that days No overnight camping because of Covid. You Can be there ALL day long 6am to sunset but apparently the virus comes out at night. being over a mile away from anyone else. This does not make any sense. Its a really nice location with 4 different sites along the river.

Report Check-In

Great location right along the Colorado river. The campsite reminded open after the winter season started which was good for us. It might be difficult to drive into the campsite in the snow with an RV or big rig.
