Description

Nice spot right on the Rogue River, away from the road. Easily accessible with 2WD. No big US style motorhomes, trucks with camper tops would be okay.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE WITH LESS SNOW, down here worked for me. Camped in a spot really close to this. There are tons here.

Report Check-In

No cell service, plenty of spots, DUSTY (silt)

2WD fine, no Verizon service, beautiful river sounds and good access for water filtration, big spot with one large central fire ring and another closer to the water. Occasional road sounds from far away, but nothing that bothered us. Beautiful spot! No bugs at all in mid-may.

Nice pull off right on the Rogue River. Spot is large enough for travel trailer or RV or 2 or 3 vans. It overlooks the Rogue River.

Report Check-In

Nice large open spot right on the River with a fire ring. There is a nice little beach. You could easily fit a large group in this spot. There are other spots along the River as well.

There are many slots along this road to park. We were here over the weekend and many families and groups had claimed areas and put up homemade signs on the trees. In the evening when we arrived, it was crazy with all the ATVs, but it was quiet at night and in the morning. I would suggest getting there early if you’re going over the weekend because it’s very popular. During the week you might be fine to turn up any time and park wherever you like.

AMAZING! A bit narrow to get on a big car, but we had no issues with our sprinter van. When you drive in, take a left, and at the fork of the road take a right. Follow the road until the end where is group Parking and a great view of the river

We attempted to camp at this site, but it appears as though some folks are pretty much living there. There was 2 old campers and 2 vehicles, but they had extensive set ups. Anyhow. The place is large enough for a few campers, relatively flat, great river view just steps away. v

Amazing place with lots of spots to park. Waterfall views and big trees!

Report Check-In

This was a beautiful spot, maybe one of the best we’ve been to. Cross Woodruff Bridge and take the first right into dirt road. About 6-8 sites right on the river. Sites are spread out and very private. Some are group sites.

Turn right at the last fork to find the nice spot down by the river. Enough room for several four-wheelers. Beautiful setting. River water sound provides a nice background ambience for sleeping. Enough room to turn around small trailer if other vehicles are not parked there. Would be tough if others were present. If the river spot was full there’s at least one other spot in the woods if you turn left at the fork. But the trail is narrow - I got my full-size truck with pop-up camper in and out but expect tree branch scratches. Forest camp site is on fork to right (after the left at beginning).

beautiful spot. a bit of soft sandy dirt but fine in my 2 wheel drive van. great swimming spot

Report Check-In

Nice place by the water right off the highway.

Report Check-In

Good spot but we could not fit with our 11' tall van. We spent the night in a pullout just before the bridge. Primarily for tents, but plenty of room to park for the night. Road was quiet overnight even on Sat. night.

As described. Turn on small forest road and continue upstream as the road splits. Very nice camping possibilities along river.

This place is amazing!!! Initial campsite here is very open and dusty, but head upstream along the road that you came in on, and you'll find a large open area right on the river - rapids, rope swing into a deep pool with an eddy that let's you jump out again, plenty of lovely shaded spots for tents, large stone fire pit. Suitable for 4 cars and up to 6 or so tents. FREE. Was a bit trashed when we got there - food scraps and wrappers lying around. So please clean up after yourself. No amenities. We drank the river water and had no problem.
