Sheep Creek rest area | Informal Campsite

It works for one night but isn't ideal. The parking area is right next to the highway so every car going by hits you with their headlights. And you can't escape the overhead street lamps in the parking area. Doesn't help that two separate vehicles also pulled up behind me and left their headlights on for extended periods... There was a good amount of traffic going in and out of the rest area on a Thursday night, as well as down the highway.

no snow. great stop while on the road in our van! no cell coverage though.

rest area as described. but water only in the bath room, motion activated mini spray. dont stop here if you want to fill up your tanks like we wanted.

As described. It’s very close to the road. We rested here over night. Has a super small green grass dog area , so we decided to go down to the river, there isn’t a foot path and the water was fairly low. At about road traffic 10pm did quiet down

Rest area off highway 95. Maximum stay 16hrs. Shade trees and next to the river. Running water toilets and potable water available. Great for one night or if unable to find anywhere else. Also has shaded picnic benches and grills.
