Free campsites at Fort Peck on a lake. Tables, firepits and pit toilets.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Here we are, back at the FREE COE cg at Ford Peck. Very few people here, just us and 4 huge 5th wheels, two which are packed up and just dropped here with nobody in site. 2 pit toilets, one pretty foul smelling (but clean), is not usable unless you lost your sense of smell. Trust me, it is gagging. Stay away. But, the other, up by the paid group site is nice and great smelling. There are also a few large trash bins, thank you, Core! Also, metal fire rings.
Beautiful water views. Quiet, a little windy with biting black flies. Be prepared.
In addition to DESIGNATED sites, each with a table and a fire ring, there is a communal covered pavilion with just 2 large picnic tables, that ONE person in a giant 5th wheel, extended truck and large boat has decided to take over and call it his own personal ‘site’. Maybe others would like to eat under a ramada shielded by the sun? Have you considered that Mr. Selfish?
Report Check-Inlovely campground on the lake. Fire rings and picnic tables but no shade. Plenty of room for big boys.

Report Check-InSeveral free campsites along Fort Peck. Concrete picnic tables , fire rings ,
Report Check-InNice place with space for many Rv’s, perhaps a dozen or more, but it’s right on reservoir and thus quite scenic.
