Follow the sign from the Hwy 16. Good maintained gravelroad (5 km) to the trailhead parking which is a bit sandy, but grassy, surrounded by trees and a hilly landscape. Several walking trails from 0,5 to 3 km to choose from. Very quiet place to spend the night. No no signs. Be bear and tick aware.

Beautiful place where you can enjoy a great hiking trail. We feel the wild life around us. Dry toilets are available with two locations to do our needs hand in hand. A small shelter with a bench allows you to enjoy a superb view of the surrounding fields. Activities for children are offered at the entrance to the trail as well as a picnic table.
Report Check-InNice and calm place. Snow is gone and we could stay on the parking lot. Quiet night and nobody came by. In the morning horses have been on the otherside. Trails are nice. Would stay there again!
Report Check-InThe trailhead camp spot at the top of hill was covered in snow and the sand was soft in the early spring. I parked at the bottom of the hill on the gravel off to the side to be safe. Don’t take alternate routes into the trailhead because back roads are sandy soft and covered in deep snow which you can get stuck in. Other than that a nice quiet place to park and sleep. LNT and it’s a decent camp spot for vans or campers anything bigger wouldn’t quite fit to turn around to get out.
Report Check-InNice grassy parking a little off level but easy to manage. Worth the drive off of Hwy 16 to spend a super quiet night. 9.5kms of wide grass trails. Very clean and no garbage bins so take everything out with you. Met Muriel the caretaker and she confirmed that we were welcomed to spend the night. They like the traffic to keep the place open.
Report Check-InA nice clean and well maintained trails. A great place to spend a night. One other couple from Germany here, but otherwise very quiet spot. They have also set up a viewing area over a hilly pasture with a bench. It does not get much better!
Report Check-InTried to camp here but it was far too sandy. 2wd van almost got stuck. Be careful.
Report Check-InNice spot and worth the 5 min drive off the highway. Pit toilet available and picnic table, cows across the road. Very quiet and peaceful!
Report Check-InAs others have said - a terrific place. The parking lot slopes away and to the right as one pulls in. We had to do some manoeuvring to get the van parked flatish. No problem - we had the place to ourselves.
A Conservation Officer accompanied by a local came by. They confirmed overnight stays are fine

Report Check-InBeautiful grassy parking where we could pitch our tent, surrounded by a few trees and the prairies. Nice bench to watch a stunning sunset. Dry toilets. Very quiet and away from the highway. Hardly any mosquitoes or flies compare to all the stops we had on the way. We couldn't try the trails since we got drenched by a Manitoba summer storm in the morning, but overall one of our best stop so far!
Report Check-InBeautiful place, very quiet and off the road. We met friendly locals, they are happy to see people staying here, as long you don’t light a fire or trash the place.. we spend two nights here with no problems at all. Watch out for ticks !!
Report Check-InGreat little spot, no "no camping" signs, really quit. Stocked outhouse with 2 seats hehe. Nice trails and a good grassy area to set up a tent.
Report Check-Invery nice site in country, beautifull quiet place, good for star watching, jogging or hiking.
Report Check-InBasic spot to park for the night. Picnic table there and some flat, nice trails. A couple people using the trail. No garbage can on site. Not a bad spot to park for the night. Happened to be a lot of hornets (nest at entrance), grasshoppers and ants but nothing too extreme. Sign the guestbook
