I was here today.. There are "No overnight" signs. Also the place looks sketchy, some homeless people walking around.

Lowe's parking lot, next to Walmart. We spent 36 hrs (2 nites and 1 day) here in the parking lot because of tornado and other "severe weather" warnings. Did not want to risk driving in possibly dangerous conditions, so hunkered down at Lowe's. Also figured that in the event of actual tornadoes, Lowe's would be a reasonable shelter. Sat there, in our campervan, all that time and no one bothered us at all. Plenty grass to walk the dog, nice quiet place. And best of all, no tornado! Next day, we continued our drive on Blue Ridge Pkwy.

arrived around 10pm and the parking lot had a few cars that belonged to the employees that were closing the store. The parking lot was lit until the last employee left and turned off the lights. Very quiet during the night until around 5am when employees started to go into work. Great alternative to Walmart which was next door with 5 rigs parked there.

Coin tranquille pour passer la nuit, Wifi dispo et a deux pas d'un ENORME Walmart qui vous permettra de prendre de l'eau et de l'électricité sur le parking proche de l'entrée.
